The Derby Hotel

The all important breakfast was very good, and cooked just as I had requested. I found the hotel was ideally situated for my requirements, the proprietors were welcoming without being intrusive, and also very knowlegable about the town of Blackpool and the local area.

I honestly can't recall anything I disliked about the Derby Hotel - It was just my style.

We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, Ivan the host was very approachable and kind. The bedroom was cosy and clean and we had a great night sleep both nights. The view when you walked out of the hotel was refreshing what we wanted. Breakfast was tasty we didn’t quite get the cooks name but he was also very polite and attentive. Thank you for a wonderful stay guys!

Shower pressure in the Chatsworth room could be improved but everything else was great value for money.

Lovely friendly team Ivan and Tim. Ivan made me feel right at home as soon as I arrived. Upgraded to a four posted bedroom. Short walk into town and a lovely breakfast.

The location was perfect for us. The room was very large with a sea view. The breakfast was excellent.

Lovely b and b breakfast was lovely , the room was a little cramped with furniture but overall a good stay hosts were friendly and knowledgable

I felt so welcome from the get go at The Derby Hotel. Ivan was so welcoming and friendly. My room was clean and had all the facilities I needed. I slept so well in a comfy bed and a perfect ensuite with a power shower. Breakfast was excellent every morning and very delicious and had a lot of choices from cereals to full English. Will definitely be visiting again next year.

If you are not a very big walker it is a fair walk to central pier where most of the attractions are however I enjoy walking so this was not a problem for me and was quite a pleasant walk.

Ivan the host was a lovely man , the food was beautiful and the little gift as we were leaving was a lovely touch .

The bar down stairs didn't have any pumps just cans and spirits but Ivan was still a good host

Fantastic hotel and service. Ivan very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very comfortable and in a great location. Breakfast was very tasty and substantial. Would recommend as a place to stay.
