"A really nice B&B."

This was my 2nd time staying at The Penkelie and what a lovely place. It's in a brilliant location and only a 10-minute stroll from Southport train station. The room was lovely. It had a really nice bathroom, a very comfortable bed and it was all spotlessly clean. Lisa is a fantastic host and always very helpful and friendly. A really nice place to stay and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

The host, Lisa, was amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and breakfast was great. Parking available with a permit from the host on the street not far from the Penkelie - also a spot or 2 may be available on the drive. Weekends are busy - there will be space somewhere. Handy location to Lord Street and the coast in Southport.

Only two things really - I could hear other guests talking / snoring in their rooms and the shower was not very powerful / water could be hotter.

Loved the location and rooms

The house was immaculate and Lisa was amazing, everything we needed for a short break . Excellent location near to city centre and beach. Lovely breakfast, Would definitely go again🙂
