Taplow House Hotel & Spa

Wonderful blissful environment to spend time in , excellent area to relax under the sun all day and evening , tranquil and uplifting. So happy to have stumbled on this gem when I was on a break away in the area. Very cosy bed and beautiful dining area for evening meal and breakfast .

Nothing. It was perfect

The location was perfect for our needs and the grounds were beautiful. The hotel itself was amazing and pet friendly however I did have to request a change of room as we were allocated a room on the top floor with steep stairs and no lift which with the dog was not good. How3ver the staff were very accommodating and made the change without any fuss.

The phone and tv signals were poor and we had problems with the internet which was resolved reasonably quickly.

The bed was comfy and the breakfast was good (when they got your food order right)

Overpriced for what you got, rooms were warm, shower was in bath and very high to get in and out. On the second day they messed up our breakfasts order then the staff were getting annoyed at us when we tried to get it resolved. The spa was very small. Overall the hotel was fine but for the price it just wasn’t worth it.

Pleasant location and helpful welcoming staff, carried cases upstairs for us old people. THERE IS NO LIFT. We were celebrating my wife's 80th birthday and they rose to the occasion by putting loads of balloons on the room and little trays of chocolates and strawberries. with message in chocolate.. Lovely touch. Hot tub was good and large.

The room and ensuite bathroom were very small for the price we paid. On arrival we were told: you booked with Booking.com so you have a small room. Not the sort of thing you say to the wife when the husband paid for it! The room was so small that when the many big balloons fell off the bed there was no room to walk round it. So the room and the restaurant were rather over-priced but no doubt as advertised.

Beautiful building with awesome decor. Loved the history of the place and the gardens. Food was amazing and staff were exceptional.

Wish the bed was a little bigger.
