Viola Palace Hotel

Where do I begin? Most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on in a long time. They say they have access to wifi but this is only available in the reception and even then it barely works. Every staff member I spoke to (bar one) came across as uninterested and rude. Ignored at breakfast and had to go routing around in draws to find my own cutlery. When I challenged this, the member of staff suggested it was because they were busy with other restaurant customers. Impressive given we were the only people eating then (maybe that should have been our first hint). We were told that after 11:30pm we would need to use a spare key to get back into the hotel. This doesn’t exactly seem safe. After this time, there is nobody in reception and no clear instructions as to how to get a hold of someone in case of an emergency. Again, doesn’t seem very safe. When I went to the staff with my complaints they became standoffish and rude. I asked to speak to a manager and got the reply “we don’t have a manager”. Continually rude and abrasive and at that point we left and chose another hotel. Avoid at all costs

Posizione strategica, la nostra camera con vista mare spaziosa e silenziosa. Purtroppo abbiamo dovuto pagare il parcheggio che non ci è stato detto che fosse a pagamento.

I've been here before with my husband and everytime it's always, but in some ways new, a surprise. We spent the night at the BeB near the Hotel due to a gas issue but we had dinner and breakky at the hotel restaurant. They helped my hubby surprising me with flowers at our table and with a very rich and soooo good menu. The pizza of course was excellent but the entree was superb. We highly recommend the hotel as the staff was professional and caring as well.

On this visit we stopped simply for a drink out in the foya area. But after meeting some friends we were invited stayed for a delicious dinner with them. Waiter service is friendly with a smile and quick. The waiters take care of your every needs in a delightful setting thus allowing you to relax and enjoy the food on your table. Also there is a good selection of wines too including a comprehensive menu to choose from. We are never disappointed here and always made to feel most welcome. Viola is highly recommended for any traveller.
