We reallybenjoyed our stay except the beds are WAY too Hard. Back ache everyday that needed to be worked out.

Great location and amenities

We’ve gone to the soundings many times in the past. We like atmosphere and closeness to the beach . Also indoor and outdoor pools.

No towels brought to us every day. We shouldn’t have to hunt down staff for them . Very little lighting in our master bedroom. We do have glass sliding door but left that closed and curtains drawn for privacy. No slip mats in shower. Even disposable ones would be good .

Had a wonderful time with the family. Great location right on the ocean. Room was clean and staff was helpful.

We had a great, one-week family vacation at The Sounding. Our room had a terrific patio which allowed for easy access to the lawn and grilling area as well as the pools and beach all of which were well maintained and clean. One thing we did notice, is that there is limited service here as there is no restaurant or dining options. Also, you need to be proactive in requesting new towels, amenities for the room, or cleaning services. This wasn’t bothersome for us but could be for some.

Very clean and well cared for property. Staff was helpful and friendly. Proximity to the ocean was the best perk!

We loved the view and the ocean being right there. It was magical!!

The way the shower turned from hot to cold so fast when others used the water.
