My wife and I had the most relaxing and wonderful time this evening for dinner. Our servers were top notch, very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was fabulous. The sunset from the terrace was magnificent. A place to experience. No black tie affair, but just good food, great live music, fun and views to be enjoyed and experienced.

staff very friendly. this is a property with a genuine lake cabin feel. Host provided several campfires for the guests to enjoy. the food was excellent. Great experience!

Staff was wonderful and very friendly. Loved the spacious room. We were there for the baseball hall of fame which was about 20 minutes away. We also went to Fly Creek Apple Orchard twice because the cider was so good. Kids loved the duck races.

The property sits on a small hillside leading to lake access. There are many places to sit and walk to enjoy the many beautiful views. My friends and I had dinner each evening at the restaurant because the food was fabulous and the menu contained so many great selections. My lovely room was upstairs in a quiet location. I enjoyed the common area each morning and the many places to view the lake.

Lake House is a great place!! The restaurant has great food and a staff that works hard. The young couple who manage both the hotel and restaurant are an energetic, bright and very interesting pair. They work hard to make sure your stay is everything you want it to be. Sabina is helpful from the minute you make a reservation and is more than willing to direct you to most anywhere you would like to go in the surrounding area during your stay. The property is enormous, well kept and the pictures online are no trick camera angles to make it appear larger. The hotel has a long storied history. Now it’s a second generation business that takes pride in what it was and what it will continue to be!! Can’t wait to get back!!

Slightly rustic rooms and building, lovely view of the lake, good restaurant, young energetic staff--way more interesting than a standard hotel chain.

Owner Sabina was very flexible and helpful. Easy Parking in front. Didn't get the opportunity to take advantage of the lake but great location. It's about 20 minutes to Cooperstown. There are no elevators but top story is only 3rd floor. Very cool old historic lodge. Would be nice to have a refrigerator in the room but otherwise great experience. Would stay again if ever back in the area.
