Lake House

Unique property, beautiful setting! Room was substantially smaller than online images indicated. It proved fine for me, as an individual. But had my baseball buddy shown up to utilize the second bed, as was the original plan, quarters would have been uncomfortably close.

We stayed one night, wish we stayed more. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The drinks at the bar were very good. We had some appetizers and were very pleased with our choices. Highly recommend The Lake House.

I use a cane to get around. When I got there I found my room was on the third floor and no elevator. The only room they had on the first floor was $40. There were 3 beds in the room (one partially blocking a door). No chair. No desk. The bathroom was small. The toilet was so close to the wall you had to turn slightly to the side. The TV was Roku streaming service, and when I went to use it, the programs often buffered or lost internet connection completely. I spotted 2 ants on the floor. The 2 queen beds were too soft. They were also on a section of the floor raised. The map for exiting in case of a fire was hand drawn. On the other side of the wall was the restaurant. I could hear the live music and noise through it. The restaurant was nice, though with good home baked bread. The covered patio overlooking the like was comfortable.

Nice, small property. Lovely vistas. Very friendly people. However my dinner on site was less than desirable. Haddock was previously frozen with a bitter aftertaste and the broccoli was room temperature.

Kinda cool place/grounds on the lake. Friendly staff. Rustic to say the least, which I like. Needs updating in all areas has lots of potential to be what it probably once was. I’d go again. Long time owners now have kids running it apparently. Interesting to see what they do with it. My room very small. Friends room was big. I was in the small cabin by the lake. They were in main building.

The history of the property is cool. It was a bit cramped in the room but it's atmosphere was awesome.

Excellent experience! Great hosts that are onsite and always available. Stayed two nights ate at the restaurant for lunch one day on the spacious deck overlooking the lake. Food was great. Absolutely would stay again. Thank you

It was such an over top experience for myself, my girls and my dogs. Great hospitality
