Lake House

Great location and lovely views. Staff created a friendly and supportive environment.

Unfortunately our rooms were on the 3rd floor and being an old hotel the stairs are steep, narrow and a little precarious. The rooms had air conditioners but the common areas were almost unbearable.

Ok for a night. A/C barely cooled the room.

The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was very homey. The only drawback was all of the stairs are hard on the knees....

What a find! I love this place and I will be going back.

Our stay was wonderful. Quiet, clean and everything we needed. We were made to feel very welcome. Rustic with antiques situated on a beautiful lake. Reminded me of my grandparents home. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We were in NY for a baseball tournament and stumbled upon this gem. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the food was excellent, and the lake view was absolutely breathtaking. Great entertainment I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place—it’s truly a hidden treasure. If there’s one small suggestion, a touch of modernizing could enhance the experience, as long as it doesn’t take away from the charm and history that make it so special. Thank you for everything Lake House for an unforgettable family experience

Very cute and homey place.

No food except Thursday-Sunday and understaffed

Son and I just needed a place to stay. Our 4 day trip to the BHofF and back. This was day 2. We were winging the second half. And we had a blast. Anyway, place is awesome. Old style, all wood, big beautiful lake house overlooking the lake. And we arrived at sunset. It was beautiful. Upstairs has been turned into great bnb style rooms. As expected a little cramped for two of us, bathroom was small for us but again i expected it. We loved the place, no worries. Only issue was extremely touchy hot water. But running plumbing everywhere in an older building has its issues. So no big deal. Place and area is great. I am putting it as a stop with my wife for a quick three or four day weekend vacation. And then ill actually enjoy more of what the Lake House and area offers non baseball wise .
