Lake House

very disappointed in how the room was pictured on expedia; we requested 2 queen beds and the picture appeared to show them separated, almost in 2 rooms. It also said lake view and ours was of the parking lot. No fault of owners who were very nice, but not happy with Expedia

The property was quaint and reminiscent of lazy summer days of my youth. Lots of history and it felt like staying in a family summer home. Unfortunately the restaurant is only open Thursday-Sunday so I was unable to enjoy that aspect of the property

Breakfast option would be nice

Old building on lake but very clean and quiet to relax

This was a last minute booking for us,as we just wanted a place to stay overnight to avoid late night travelling,return trio next day for Youth baseball tournament.Cant tell you how pleasantly surprised we were to find such a peaceful,serene ,accomodating lodge.I was a hero for finding such a great place.

I got in late. But they were super nice about it. Place was clean. Friendly staff and itnwas the cutest place

Liked very much its location near the lake. Outside eating facility had view of the lake and it was comfortable.

Lodge was very clean. It is an old lake lodge, which we knew, but for those folks who have limited knowledge or understanding of lake lodges, they need to be aware of the many limitations. It is not made for folks who have walking, leg, hip, knee, and maybe back issues. Many steps and uneven ground. Restaurant limited faire, but good when available. No breakfast items avaiable in morning, but have coffee strong and good! There is a refriderator and kitchen area for patrons yo use. Proprietors very nice and try to accomodate patrons. We slept very well here!

We came in after dinner down the road, put on swimsuits, and kayaked or paddleboarded for an hour before bed. Wish we had brought our own breakfast, but otherwise, an exceptionally good experience.
