No air con in bedrooms!

Brilliant location. Staff on the front desk were welcoming.

The apartment was dirty. The beds were uncomfortable. The door handles to the balcony door was broken, the handles on the fridge and freezer pulled off in your hands when you opened them. We also ran out of toilet paper, when we realised one of us quickly ran downstairs (whilst the other was still on the loo) to get another roll, to be told we have to go to the shop to buy them. The doonas had no covers on them, which is fine but they were badly stained with colours that leave little to the imagination.

Was a great location by the water, was quiet and even though they were booked out it wasn’t crowded. The rooms were a decent size. The coffee shop downstairs was excellent.

Our unit faced the afternoon sun so the unit got really hot, there is only one air conditioner in the lounge area which didn’t filter into the bedrooms which made sleeping uncomfortable. There are no screens on the balcony doors so we were reluctant to leave them open at night. There are ceiling fans in both bedrooms which did help a bit.

The accommodation was very dirty, which was disappointing. I booked for three nights but was only provided with towels for one night. In addition, the bedroom was extremely hot, as there was no air conditioning—only the living room had air conditioning, which made sleeping uncomfortable

Its location was quite good. Handy for long walks along the shoreline. We had a corner unit which had a nice view of the water. The rooftop pool was enjoyable but the spa didn't have the jets working.

Busy road was quite noisy but ok if you closed the glass doors to the deck. Air con in the lounge only. Fans only in the two bedrooms. The small bedtoom with 2 x single beds was depressing. No windows other than small frosted ones. The night lights outside shone into the bedroom through these windows with no way of turning the light off. Only two dinner plates and a mixture of mis-matched cups and four side plates and 2 cereal bowls didnt quite cut it. We asked at reception for a bin liner as we'd filled up the small one under the sink by our 4th day and were told by the lady on reception that each room is only allocated one bin liner per stay! She reluctantly gave us an extra one. Attention to cleanliness could be better too. Door frames and bedside shelves could do with a wipe. The cost of our 5 night stay didn't match the quality of the accommodation. I guess it being Christmas is the reason for that. We have found something modern for our next stay in the Gold Coast for a family wedding in March.
