The Winnock Hotel

Assez grand hôtel Chambre avec 2 lits individuels bien confortable. Pour le petit déjeuner, un buffet froid et une carte pour commander la partie chaude.

Nice location and staff friendly

Room was in need of an upgrade very worn and not the cleanest..

It’s central with easy access to the village. Good restaurant for dinner.

We had a room close to the function suite. We were there for four nights and on three of those nights there were functions on and the noise was such you may as well have been at the event. We did complain and in the end on the third night were offered another room but it was of poor quality and there was a dog barking next door so we didn’t take it. Breakfast rarely started on time and the staff seemed bad tempered. You had to wait for them to be ready to open up and they got extremely frustrated at people trying to go through without permission. One member of staff said “they never “swear word” listen about some guests who were struggling to understand how breakfast worked. Our room also seemed to get the odours from the kitchen…and a horrible smell from the shower drain. They did come and try to sort the shower smell. It did get a little better but still not ideal. It’s a shame but I think the hotel is used to transient guests using it as a base for one night so there is little effort to engage or provide an exceptional service

Abbiamo scelto questa struttura perché vicina a Loch Lomond, quindi di strada per andare a Glencoe. Si trova in un paesino piccolo con pochi servizi, ma molto tranquillo. Ampio parcheggio in loco. La stanza era piccola ma in ordine, il bagno un po' vetusto ma pulito. Nel ristorante si mangia bene, i prezzi sono in linea con quelli della zona.

Tutto sommato, niente di negativo da segnalare.

Good location

Great location on the West Highland Way.

It’s an old building maybe a bit tired but either way character. Unfortunately there was a band playing on the Saturday night we were there so it was noisy till midnight.

The staff were friendly and caring and went beyond their responsibilities to assist with my request.
