My husband and I chose this place for our honeymoon and it was all the dream we could have wanted or expected. And then some. Angelina is the top of all of the wonderful people who work at this lovely place. Please see or ask for her when you get here. Breakfast is amazing - the island is special and we got to experience all of it during our week here. Truly a special place and highly recommend for anything you’re looking to experience!

Nothing, everything was great

We stayed at the Beach Club in January this year and are just getting around to leaving a review now. This was a fantastic accommodation in a wonderful location on Hamilton Island. Couldn't fault the hotel, from the slick pickup at the airport, the warm welcome and the wonderful room we were allocated on the bottom floor. Room facilities were excellent, walking directly out into the garden, with views to die for as in the photos attached. We ate there every morning for breakfast (included in the cost) and also a couple of times in the evening. We found the food to be excellent and the service exemplary. It was not fast, but then this is not McDonald's. The service was relaxed not slow. There is always somewhere to relax, whether by the pool, in the gardens, or on the beach. And drinks are served to your location as required. They have a bus service, but if you can hire a buggy, the freedom and fun is worth the expense. Special mention to Angelina (I think) who was particularly helpful, even offering to take me to the toilet, a communication confusion caused by my Scottish accent, but one of the funny highlights of the holiday. All in all one of my favourite holiday locations ever, there is so much to do. Golf on Dent Island and the Whitehaven beach ocean rafting trip were massive favourites. If you choose Hamilton Island, this hotel is ideal for couples and  those looking for a relaxed way to enjoy the magical island.

Great service in a perfect location. The breakfasts are a relaxing start to the day and the service staff attentive and professional. The poolside bar is a lovely spot for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The rooms are comfortable with delightful views or you can enjoy lounges and tables on the beach to sink your toes into the sand. You’re spoilt for choices on Hamilton Island and the Beach Club staff will happily transfer you anywhere you’d like to go. Couldn’t ask for more!

The breakfast was amazing. The staff are so personal and friendly, they truely go above and beyond. I was 20 weeks pregnant during my stay and without asking, they were incredibly accomodating to ensure I was comfortable, providing additional pillows and very educated on pregnancy dietary requirements.

Beds are a bit firm.

Amazing surroundings, direct beachfront location, and excellent cuisine by a French chef. Kangaroos in the garden and very friendly staff. The Great Barrier Reef is an absolute must-see!

Unfortunately, this hotel does not provide complimentary buggies like some of the other 5-star resorts on the island, so renting one becomes an extra expense. Even though they offer pick-up and drop-off services, the waiting times can be quite long. The Wi-Fi is extremely poor. I honestly don’t understand why a hotel of this standard does not provide stronger internet access for its international guests.
