Overpriced and more than 50% foreign visa workers, who just needed 45 days work for their visa conditions. This meant that they had no idea of the surroundings but they did seem more keen to work here rather than the Reef View hotel or Hayman Island. Very annoying shortage of pool lounges and pool closure at 5pm daily due to restaurant opening for dinner. Staying four nights, I went down for breakfast on the first day, only eight guests in entire restaurant and was told to wait by the pool bar for a table to be ready. Not good enough! I asked for a breakfast card so I could have my breakfast in my room and was told by the snooty maître’d that the cards were to be filled out the night before. He begrudgingly made an exception. Although the food was very tasty, there was no tomato sauce or salt and pepper. The second day there was no butter or tomato sauce and so on, each morning there were different items missing even though by day two I wrote down everything I wanted on the list. They didn’t get one breakfast correct! I won’t be returning!

Absolutely everything. Outstanding service from the minute we stepped off the ferry to be dropped at the airport for our return trip home. We were treated so well. Food and drinks were amazing. Room was extremely comfortable, and everything had been thought of. I will remember this trip as being one of the best.

Nothing

I arrived at the airport and was met by hotel staff then escorted to their shuttle which took myself and a few other people to the resort. Upon arriving I was taken to an open room and given a rundown of the facilities. This is where the trouble started. I was by myself (plans changed for my traveling companion). I was asked if I was by myself and I said yes, well the employee checking me in looked at me like I was from mars. I didn’t feel like I needed to explain my situation as it was none of her business. She then took me to my room gave me another snide look and left. I went out and explored the resort took a dip in the pool and then went back to my room. The whole time I was there I felt out of place I felt like the hostess that checked me in started gossiping about me being by myself, I was never so happy to leave after 3 days.
