The view was great, bed was really comfy and location very quiet.

The white cockatoos! Housekeeping could have been better.

The hotel is great I really like it parking the buggy out the front is awesome.

Upon entering my room, I was overcome by an immediate smell of mouldy aircon which was actually very strong almost hard to sleep actually. Also you cannot put the air conditioner onto heat, I don't care if it Hamilton Island and you're in the whitundays...... I was freezing! We went and had dinner at the reef view... pool terrace restaurant. we sat down and I told my partner forget the prices, lets just enjoy a lovely meal here. I ordered the grilled prawns and my partner ordered scotch fillet steak And as soon as the prawns arrived they smelt very fishy to the fact where we couldn't even eat them, one and a half to be exact. out of a total of four prawns for $30 oh we also got some diced onion and a half decent salad. My partner ordered the Scotch fillet steak which came with potato gratin, it was the size of a Scotch finger biscuit, it wasn't even real Potato by the taste of it she said, and she barely ate a quarter, And her medium rare steak was medium to well done. All she had was a butter knife for 50% of the time until someone noticed thankfully, well done that guy.👍 The steak came also covered with a massive mushroom the size of our hotel room almost, it had weird flavors like honey and I couldn't tell you what else but it was completely masking the flavour of all the great ingredients. The mushroom was placed as if it was hiding it the bad cut of meat, because it was just a bunch of grizzle and fat underneath. I'm not sure what is going on in the kitchen but it is Gordon Ramsays worst nightmare, in the kitchen those chefs need some back to basics training and taste their food before it comes out. Oh damn sorry guys we did stay the night and had a break buffet. Well. Im not sure to even continue. But as above hahaha .
