Raina Holiday Accommodation

Comfortable beds. Lovely garden. Lovely beach across the road. Charlies Restaurant - good food and music nearby. Superette and church 10-15 minutes walk away. Maire Nui gardens and cafe nearby. Bus stop outside gate with buses going every 30 mins. Could have been cleaner. Looking a bit sad - built in 80s and some repairs required. New crockery needed. Wifi details should be readily available. Units should have numbers as trying to find our room in the dark at 3am following our late flight was very difficult. We enjoyed our stay. It works well if you want to bring your own food and big open plan rooms so good for families. All cooking facilities and microwave and fridge available. Not much space in freezer as being used for storage for owner or manager.

There was no hot water at the beginning of our stay but this was quickly rectified.

We had booked for our mother in law as we stayed in a villa along the road. She could only handle one night and to date no refund has been forthcoming…dirty, towels with holes, no hot water, gas hob unsafe to turn on/off, very tired accomodation in much need of a refurb…

We chose the mountain view option that where we were staying It was very nice and quiet.

A lot. It is run down. A good re paint wouldn’t go astray.

Didn’t like the fact that we were told we had to use the same towels u til we left. We had booked in for 5 nights. Also had no hot water and was told the next day that the hot water got turned off for the night. That’s just a couple things. There were other points but I don’t want to go on about it.

The location is super convenient — just a short walk to the beach, local shop, and Charlie’s bar and restaurant- really good place to eat with live music. The apartment is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful greenery. It’s clean, spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely little patio.

Aunty's June was lovely. She told us of many Rarotonga adventures and was delightful company.

The swarms of large wasps. Rooms were not so sunny in the afternoon. Whole place is a little bit dated but quite comfortable.

place needs a good clean bathroom tiles needs scrubbing bathroom door also needs a good clean sliding door runners needs a good cleans they were fill of dirt and dead bugs also it said it had a washing machine and it didn't we also had to ring them for more towels as wen they cleaned the room they never left any we stayed 7 nights and room was only cleaned once kitchen had ants

The location is amazing! The snorkelling out the front and the convenience of a shop next door. It’s not right in the hustle and bustle but if you rent a car or catch the bus it’s absolutely perfect!

The kayaks, one we couldn’t use as it said it leaked and the other didn’t say it leaked so we tried but it was the same. We are huge water people so was really looking forward to kayaking the lagoon together.
