Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort

Location was perfect for exploring the Krabi and Ao Nang area. Very clean and spacious rooms. Would highly recommend upgrading to a seaside view room with a balcony. Staff were friendly and service was quick. The infinity pool was a major highlight.

The location is fantastic, only a short walk to Ao Nang Beach and with lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. Getting transport from the hotel was extremely easy, though most places are within walking distance. The views from the hotel are lovely, looking out over the bay, and the sunsets from the rooftop bar are incredible. The rooms are lovely and a good size, and the housekeeping staff do a fantastic job making sure the rooms are always fresh and clean. Despite so many bars on the road and nearby, we had no issues with noise at night and found the hotel to be very peaceful. The restaurant and the pools are also great - we ended up eating at the hotel multiple nights during our stay because the food was excellent! Overall the best thing about the hotel is the staff. Though the hotel itself is lovely, the staff are what really make it. Every member of staff you meet is friendly, welcoming, smiley and very eager to help. We loved our stay here predominantly because of how brilliant everyone was. Only one thing about the hotel that was not a negative for us but may be for other people - this hotel is not the most accessible if you have friends or family in wheelchairs. Though there are elevators in each building to avoid the steps, you would struggle to comfortably fit a wheelchair plus carers/family members inside.

Stayed here for three nights as part of a longer trip. Very aggressively priced mid-range hotel - way overpriced for the hotel’s standard in peak season. Would rate as a 3 star or 3.5 star hotel. Room was acceptable if a bit faded though the sea view room had as much a view of the parking lot as the sea. Overall amenities and buildings could do with a mid-life upgrade. Service was friendly but unenthusiastic. View from infinity pool area nice if a bit crowded. Location was good for restaurants - about 10 mins from the beach.

Excellent hotel. We had a brilliant stay. The accommodation was excellent. I’m gluten free and I’ve been well catered for at both breakfast and dinner in hotel restaurant. Evening drinks in the different bars have been a perfect ending to ea h day. Special call out to Puu and team who looked after us brilliantly in the Cliff bar.

The place is out of this world. Loved the sunset view kissing the sea with the mountains smiling on the other side. Ake was amazing, Very warm and friendly.

This is a hotel where every member of the staff provides genuinely friendly and impressive service. From Reception, Food & Beverage, and Housekeeping to the Concierge team, everyone made a wonderful impression on us. In particular, “Yob” from the Concierge team (the bell staff) delivered truly outstanding service. Sincere thanks to all the staff at this hotel for their dedication and for doing everything they could to ensure we left with such beautiful memories.
