Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel

I was double charged for 2 night stay and up to now, 5 days since checking out, I still haven't received my money back. I'm definitely not pleased.

Do not stay here.... yes it is not far from LGA, and there is a convenient subway stop nearby - however this is an extremely dangerous, dirty, and intimidating neighbourhood in the middle of "the projects" (according to locals, not my assumption). Some of the staff are extremely unprofessional, unknowledgeable, and rude. The hotel itself was clean, modern and new. The rooms were perfectly fine. Will never stay here again, do not recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

The hotel was pretty clean, but room space was fairly small. I assume it’s a New York thing. “Available parking” consisted of 9 spots on the deck. All other parking was 1st come 1st serve street parking. But I wouldn’t recommend that, unless you manage to get a spot on 21st street on main road. My family used the subway & left car parked on road. Roads around there were sketchy at best. You’ll also hear sirens until 11pm, then again by 6am. Convent to subway & locals were pretty helpful with that, so try not to pre-judge.

The staff are incredible! We had a medical emergency and it was handled with such professionalism and care. We were very grateful. The hotel is close to the subway and there are great delis very close. Thank you again to hotel management and staff!

We liked that the Subway station was just a block and a half away. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was surprisingly good (not a continental breakfast) and the employee that was working the breakfast kept the area very clean and organized.

The Hotel is great as well as the parking situation. On property it’s US25 per night, but there is on street parking. Limitited as well as unlimited parking. The Neighbourhood is okay, while there is a housing projects with low income people around. Just be careful. The Subway is a 5 minutes walk, perfect. I will always choose that Hotel, when arriving with a car,

This hotel has the most friendly staff ever! The checkin was smooth and we were greeted by 2 jolly ladies. They immediately set us up with maps and tips since it was our first time in NY. Also the breakfast was great. Yasmin has been very helpful. A little downside was that our fridge wasn't working and we only came to know that after we'd bought some food for the next day. In the end we had to throw it all away :( But apart from that I totally recommend this hotel. I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK.

I had a great stay at Best Western. I was attend very well. The only issue I had was the parking not only is it limited but to leave the parking area it is really had to get out. I scratched my car and by the wall marks im not the first one that has either.

The hotel is close to the subway which made it really easy to get around. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean and spacious, but the location around looked a little rundown. We still had a nice view of some buildings.

We really are satisfied with the front desk that handled us when we arrive. I just didn’t got her name. But she was really giving us tips and ideas on how to explore New York since it’s our first time. And really friendly too.
