Residence Inn Youngstown Boardman/Poland

I enjoyed the room as well as the full kitchen we had access to. We had a lovely night. Will be returning soon.

The most immediate issue is that none of the staff wear masks. Half of them will put a mask on when asked, but the others won’t. Not very clean. The dishes were filthy. The hotel does not actually offer a hot breakfast, so don’t believe the web page. This was by far the worst Marriott I have ever visited.

The nicest most helpful people work at the hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay. The rooms were well cared for and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Would stay there again any time!!!

Very dated facility, not well sound insulated. Pictures do not do it justice. Rooms were dirty, beds uncomfortable and limited access to the pool. Just not what we expected from a Residence Inn. I feel bad because we recommended it to other families and they stayed too. The price was more expensive than other options.

Clean and comfortable but needs a refresh.

Overall, the room was fine, nothing fancy. It was spacious enough though nothing elegant.

The property is very outdated. It wasn’t super clean either. We found a pair of underwear left in the dresser drawer and don’t even look behind the couch. We dropped something behind it and there was so much trash. There was hair on the bathroom floor that we had to clean ourselves. Which is gross. The hotel is loud too. On the weekend it seems to be a party hotel. The only up side was it was cheap and the staff were nice.

Our room was not taken care of before check in. There were 4 balls on the floor, a Red Bull can, and Condem box in the drawer of the Kitchen. The coffee pot did not work. There was no info on how to call the front desk. The upstairs neighbors were insanely loud at 1 am with no reprucissions.

Staff was very nice. Hotel is old and gross. Wouldn’t unpack we were so disgusted. Old torn carpet. Old hotel smell. Dirty walls and doors. Refrigerator was not clean. Clearly rode hard and put away wet.

They were amazingly accommodating. We had a golf tournament that we knew we needed 1 night for so I booked the reservation. I then booked an additional 3 nights, in the event my son qualified for the tournament. After booking I realized that I would have to cancel the reservation before knowing if they would be staying. I called and explained the situation and they graciously checked them out after the one night and held the room until they knew. That way they were able to move back into their same room. They were GREAT!
