Front desk person could have been friendlier and welcoming. Did their job but could have added that extra touch. Those little extras do make a difference and are remembered.

I made my reservation for a wedding that I was attending near the hotel one week prior. I paid in full at booking for a sweet for my sister and I. I am originally from the area, thankfully, so I knew that the hotel was across the street from the wedding venue. The day before and the day of my trip, I received confirmations of my check in. We drove an hour preparing to check in with plenty of time to get ready for the wedding. When he arrived at approximately 4:30, the front desk person informed us that they had overbooked, we had no room there, but that they booked us a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Salem, not close at all to the wedding and 1/2 the direction we had just come from. They were surprised that I knew that this was not close. The general manager, Michael Grant, according to the desk person, made this decision and was not available to speak with. No one could tell me why I did not get a call at any time prior to my appearing at the hotel that they didn’t have the room I already paid for! It was obvious that they just did not want to have to refund me! I never did get a call from the general manager with an apology . I do not recommend this hotel. They clearly grabbed my money and someone else’s figuring that I would be too stupid to realize what they were trying to pull,

Terrible! Drove over an hour for family wedding! Paid in advance for suite for my sister and I across from wedding venue. Receive confirmation at booking and day of wedding. Got to hotel and told they overbooked and tried to send us to another hotel 40+ Minutes away! General manager would not even come to desk to explain why we didn’t even get a courtesy call before taking this drive! Absolutely no excuse for this.

Well i had a 3rd floor room but i like being on the 1st floor since i stayed at the residence in Marriott in Scranton which was FABOLOUS!!!! and the staff was Beautiful!! shout out to Mike!! welllll they gave me a room on the 1st floor (awful) hole in the wall and carpet was stained. Soooo i opted out that room and took the original 3rd floor room. OKAY toilet was rusty and i think it was gonna overflow. Sorry just sorry! and the staff was rude to one of my coworkers! hot as hell in the Lobby. I ain"t eating sh@t from them and the LAUNDRY doesnt work and hasn't been working since december of 2020!! they requested us to walk to fairfield INN to wash clothes WTH!!. I'm with my AMI team on assignment. I just can't believe these conditions. I've also read all these reviews and most of us feel the same about this hotel!. Sooo my question is WHAT is gonna be done Mike Grant? This is a bad representation of a Marriott!! Yall on some BS!! ugh

The property seem to be a little run down but the biggest problem was they were doing repairs on the roof and workers started early even on sunday morning the staff is friendly and accommodating but looks like ownership has put them in a tough position they did givee a $100 dollar break for 1 night but the ait conditioner only work in one bedroomy son was up all night in humid conditions i will never stay here again

My family of 4 made a long trek from Maryland to visit relatives for the holiday weekend and of course forgot a few items in the process. The staff here was fantastic and did everything they could to make us feel comfortable. We arrived very late at night and Connor, who checked us in, was sure to stock us with all we needed. He went above and beyond his duties when he actually went across the street to get us a few items this location ran out of and proceeded to bring them to our room. He could have easily said he couldn't help but instead went the extra mile which allowed me to focus on getting my kids settled and in bed. Hotels are a a dime a dozen but the staff is what made this visit great. Our family was comfortable and when it comes to plans the next trip I'll be booking here when possible.

It was a great stay. Very friendly staff, nice clean room, and convenient for the places we visited.

first night found a dirty diaper and socks behind the nightstand. food wrappers on the floor when we checked in, still there after house keeping cleaned the room. mold growing around the handicap seat in the tub. probably will never stay here again.

Overall my stay was good and service was also good.. the only negative was the lobby was outdated & not as clean. the covid shield at the front desk looked dirty, which kind of gives a bad 1st impression . However everything else was clean including my room, and i enjoyed my stay...

It was great that our room had a separate bedroom and living area/kitchen. Upon checking into our room, the room had an overwhelming odor of marijuana. Opening the windows didn't help, as the way the room is positioned, the windows are right across from the dryer exhaust in a small corridor that allows for little air circulation. The room itself was relatively clean. Debris on the floors, but the toilet, shower, and bed seemed clean. The breakfast offerings were minimal and I picked up a muffin that had mold on it. Overall decent hotel for the price.
