Ao Nang Orchid Resort

We did not like our original room but upgraded to a place next to the pool which was wonderful.

The room is facing toward the street and also next to it was. A kitchen much lower where. I stay above it. It really annoying in the night when the exhaust fan is in operation noisy. And midnight bike are racing the engine. You can get proper rest actual. That room should not having rent out to guess. Room 311

Hotel location is good, but quality of service is pathetic. Staff doesn't even understand English. They know only local language and are very rude. First time I saw such behavior in service industry. Other than swimming pool the hotel do not have any facilities like games or gym, room size small and old furniture, mosquitoes. No action taken when you complain. Overall not a good place to stay.

Almost everything was as expected, it really was a nice hotel and the only fault I can mention is with the breakfast, hopefully they can improve on this and everything would be perfect!

Very descent resort with best accessibility option from Aonang Beach and buzzy street. we atleast walked downed to our 6-7 times in the evening walk. Its soo much convenient and walkable from main Beach and happening street. Our room was Delux with Pool View. and it has excellent Cliff view visible straight from our bed as well. Full glass door in balcony. Worth it if book with Pool View.

The facilities were pretty and the breakfast buffet was decent, however, the room was very poorly maintained. We had feces on our bed and on one of our counters. Yes there was poo, as if someone tried to change a diaper on the clean bed before we checked in. I'm not really sure how that snuck by the staff, but we were pretty appalled. With that being said, it was a really nice location and a solid price.

The room was very comfortable with all the amenties provided for. The hotel took care of the small amenties such as hair dryer, providing slippers and towels for those who are going on a trip.

Shower facilities needed an upgrade. Brown water came out of shower head! Let it run for a while and the water will clear up. You might want to consider brushing you teeth with bottled water if you worry. Hot shower seems to be limited. I don't think I was given much chance to experience it haha. Slopes for convenience to travel with pram or luggage at the entrance and to the pool villa but it can get slippery in wet weather if your footwear is not anti-slip. Design of room is nice, loved that I could walk out of my room and into the pool immediately. If you intend to stay in the pool villa, might do you good to prepare a mosquito repellent as the pool villa I stayed in was by a drain.

The location is very convenient, two blocks from the beach. We arrived after a long trip from Texas and found the room to be very comfortable. But I was very impressed with the pool: it's beautiful!! There are many restaurants in the surrounding area. The next morning we had the buffet breakfast, great in quality and variety. All in all I recommend this hotel and will return soon.
