The Camelot Hotel Pattaya

The grounds of the property are extremely nice and a five minute walk to Walking Street near Marine Disco. The room itself was pleasant, but the beds not very comfortable. Shower was seriously lacking in water pressure and hot water. Definitely no views of anything, if that's your thing. One of the bell boys tried to get me to go on this "free" taxi to a Gem manufacturer. Breakfast was seriously lacking in items to eat both Thai and expat. I'd only stay here again if all other places were booked.

Set back from the street so reasonably quiet. We booked 2 rooms, a twin bed room for my 2 teenage sons and one for me. Upon arrival there was no twin bed room for the first (of 5) nights. Try getting 2 teenage boys to share a bed! That was sorted the next day. The rooms are large and comfortable, I found the staff to be friendly, the location being 5 minutes walk from Walking Street and the beach, with restaurants galore 30 seconds away, was very convenient. I don't understand the content of some other reviews i.e. you get what you pay for, and this is essentially a budget hotel, so the reviews should take that into consideration.

Good hotel for the price. Beds pretty comfy, which had been lacking at other hotels during my stay around Thailand. Close proximity to Walking Street, the mall and other destinations.

Nice old hotel, its not 5 star the main guy at reception is a little rude. the breakfast was very basic and filling (could be changed up a little) nice swimming pool, the laundry lady was the best staff member in the building also note there is an extra charge they charged me for a professional massage (I was just out of surgery) was not happy about it, esp it was not an escort or anything like that (when they saw the scars on my leg)

Rude staff & unhelpful, old hotel n v dirty washrooms, only one thing good close to walking street it's few steps away. Very outdated hotel, there is no power plug available to change phone or any electronic components. Total waste of money.

It was nice, fun and lovely. The idea of having the two rooms connected by a door to be used by 6 leople is amazing. It will be more appreciated by family and group of friends use.

It was not a pleasant experience. The stuff is rude and unhelpful ( especially the Chief Receptionist). The had us in the wrong type of room. The rooms are subpar. The buffet breakfast was embarrassing. The male staff were creepy.

The staff lady is rude and talking back customer with pointing finger while asking hot water . Request for hot water takes 20 minute.
