The location. The toom was comfortable.

I was told valet parking was $40 or $45. I got an email receipt and It was actually $55 plus fees and taxes making it over $62.00. This was wrong. It totally tarnished my opinion of the hotel.

I love that the hotel was close to all attractions and River walk and malls. I just love the free breakfast and the rooms was so clean and everyone was so nice and helpful. I will be back again and I will tell all my friends how wonderful my experience was here at this hotel. I just love this hotel !!!

Nothing. They over booked and sent us to a cheaper hotel around thr corner. I paid $300 for a duvet hotel in downtown SaTx.

Walking distance to the Riverwalk

Very disappointed on the pool. It was very small dirty and not heated. Only one elevator was working. They put us in the wrong room had to ask for the correct room

First, in terms of location this is as good as it gets in San Antonio, if you are not directly on the Riverwalk. The riverwalk steps are about a block away, the Buckhorn Museum is across the street in the next block and the Alamo is an easy walk. It’s a nearly perfect location to explore San Antonio. You are paying for location. The room itself is not bad. We had an executive room, which is on the corner. Cool architectural detail with a curved wall and window overlooking the Rose Bar across the street. The refrigerator was super cold, which is not always the case in similar hotels. The air was a little loud but worked well. The room is L-shaped with a sleep sofa in one area, bed around the corner. There are two televisions. The bathroom is modern. The shower is a little on the small side. From the toilet you could see a huge portion of the baseboard broken missing next to the door. Towels were ok. Now for the issues: - Parking is valet, which I was fine with, but it is not clearly marked. The Hilton Garden Inn across the street has a clear place to pull in and valet….Townplace Suites does not. We passed the hotel once, not seeing a place to valet, called the hotel and she said it was on the left side of the hotel. Too any normal person that would mean as you faced the hotel it’s to the left. So we pulled alongside, but no valet area. Checked at the parking lot in that street and they had nothing to do with the hotel. Called again she said on the left, eventually we found it on the other side of the hotel. She meant on her left as she stood inside looking out. They only have a small sign sitting on the ground, like a wet floor sign in the bathroom. With cars parked there, it could not be seen. We arrived around 12:30 PM and our room was, understandably not ready yet. We asked to store the luggage, which they do, but with no luggage tags - so no receipt for our bags. They said they would call us when our room was ready. While we had lunch at the Riverwalk, we got a call that our room was ready. So, we wandered the Riverwalk after lunch and arrived back at the hotel an hour and fourteen minutes after that call….ONLY TO BE TOLD OUR ROOM WAS NOT READY. Blanca, who was very apologetic could not give us an explanation as to why we got a call. At this point we were exhausted, having gotten up at 2:00 AM and had to wait in the lobby for our room. The hotel has multiple signs of disrepair. Horrible unrepaired rips in the seating in the breakfast area, one of the two elevators was broken all 3 days of our stay (from the looks of the sign much longer than that). So housekeeping and staff were always pushing carts, ladders etc into the one elevator. The valet parking gives you an app, so you can select a time for them to have your car ready. We did that, then the valet couldn’t find our car on the last day. Eventually found it with some story about it being on the other side of the church they contract with. The result, we were late for breakfast with friends.

Good location. Great staff at breakfast.

I got a room below street level. The sofa bed had a terrible mattress, even for kids. Very thin foam, you could feel the inner springs.
