"Great location "

10.0

The hostel is located at the Malecon which very safety with great facilities and walking distance to Santa Ana and others sightseeings. The Metrovia station is only 2 blocks with the line goes to bus terminal

"The pictures look better than the reality!"

6.0

All I wanted was a clean place to sleep one night, and I got that! But in the ad it doesn't tell you that it is facing the Malecon where there is a lot of noise, there was some sort of show going on with microphones that was really loud for several hours. They did provide earplugs which were used. There was also a lot of old doors standing at the top of the stairs that are kind of an eyesore and could be removed. There was a cat meowing in the hall also. On their literature in the room it does say there may be noise, but not in the ad. There was no food on Sunday and since I left early in the AM for the airport there was nothing to take with me to the airport to eat. I would suggest a bowl of fruit be left for those people who can't take advantage of the breakfast!! Thanks

"2 thumbs up for service!"

10.0

First room had an AC problem. They immediately upgraded us at no additional charge and apologized for the inconvenience! We also had a super early flight and had to leave the hotel at 3am. They prepared some sandwiches for us to take on the go. Great location on the Malecon! AC worked great and service was very good.

"A Hidden Oasis in Old Quito. "

Service is outstanding, the room was comfortable but spartan and lacked a closet/armoire and places to store/hang clothing.

"Worn out overpriced hostel. Look elsewhere!"

4.0

Beside having a good location this place is not a good choice. Over priced, worn out hostel, bathrooms and rooms are not too clean .

"Filthy room floors "

4.0

We chose this facility due to being pet friendly, I have seen kennels with cleaner floors. We wiped them up ourselves but still wouldn't walk around bare footed. Staff was quite friendly & food tasty Just can't overlook having to use two towels on the floor as soon as we arrived which both turned completely black & brown. The poor fitting sliding door made the street noise below seem like we were outside.

"A nostalgic with a smile"

8.0

The Manso is deeply embedded in the arts and sustainability communities. The owner Ricardo has a soul that extends into the Manso itself. Close to the malecon a great place to stay.
