5, Had such a nice time at Uday Samudra! The place is right by the sea, so the views are amazing and the vibe is super relaxing. Everything felt smooth and easy, and the staff made sure we were comfortable. Definitely a spot I’d go back to for a chill getaway!

Miduna made check in very easy, and kindly showed us around the facilities. The Spas are super comfortable The rooms are clean and all visitors will be happy with the quality of the beds and washrooms in every room. Noise is not an issue and so it is wasy ti get a good nights sleep. The location is excellent and you can easy walk or get transit down to the nearby Lighthouse or the Kerala Arts and Crafts Village where there are dozens of local artists crafting and selling items, even cane worked chairs. The Village is rather big and makes for an excellent trip. There are multiple restaurants in the hotel both of which offer excellent choices for food. Catering to vegetarian and meat eaters for a reasonable price. Foreign travellers who can’t handle spicy food will be welcome also. Overall, very comfortable atmosphere, and I would recommend this to any one needing a place to stay in or around Kovalam.

Udaya Samudra Kovalam Beach Resort brings to Kerala the exotic flavours of Persian cuisine through "Sultan's Silk Route" Food Festival from 27 May to 31 May.We had the privilege of being served an exotic meal of appetizing Kebabs, Roti and Biriyani with accompaniments topped off with Kulfi in ambience fit for royalty.Whie Biriyani was a delight , chicken and prawn kebabs were superb. The Chef and FnB manager were in attendance to suggest their signature dishes which were delicious. This was a delightful dining experience as Jyothika organised an impromptu celebration with a bouquet of roses and cake as it was Nirmala's birthday.Thus Jyothika redefined hospitality.That made our day. If you have missed the treat rush to Udaya Samudra, Kovalam.

We stayed at the resort this month and unfortunately had several issues. The rooms had problems with locks (especially bathrooms) and an unpleasant smell, which forced us to change rooms twice. The front desk did not handle the situation seriously, and no apology was offered. The extra bed we paid for came with a broken mattress, leaving my father sleepless until it was replaced the next day. Overall, these repeated inconveniences wasted a lot of time and caused frustration. Staff interactions were not very pleasing, and at times felt rude. On the positive side, the food was excellent with plenty of variety and great taste and the location of the resort is very good. While the dining and setting were enjoyable, the poor room maintenance and lack of attentive service made the stay disappointing.

The room was amazing, neat, and very well-maintained and the staff’s behaviour and hospitality were exceptional. The food was delicious with excellent quality, and the view from Room 409 was absolutely stunning. Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great service, outstanding food, and a beautiful atmosphere.
