Location and ambience.superb. Great surroundings.

The hotel is situated right next to Blue City Mall. Within 5 minutes walking distance, there are many restaurants and within 10 minutes auto-ride you can come to the city centre - Ghanta Ghar Area for shopping. The room and the bathroom size is very big. The bed is very comfortable. They even had a big extra bed in the room. Despite the hotel being full, we never had any issues finding a table during breakfast time. The hotel was actually an ertswhile palace which has been converted in to a hotel (Like many hotels all over Rajasthan). So there are big lawns, swimming pool and small shops within the hotel itself.

There are quite a few things which the Hotel need to improve upon:- 1) On the first morning, my wife had to ask 3 times before someone could serve her tea. She also asked for 1 portion of Jain Breakfast, which was given but after asking 3 times again. The staff needs to be attentive to these things. 2) Our bathroom shower was not working properly. After informing 2 times, then they fixed it. They also did not give dental kit until the last day and that too on being asked. 3) Wi-Fi was not very good. This is something that they also need to improve on. Speed was slow. I had to use my mobile as hotspot for my laptop. 4) The shower area door was not closing properly. Result was that there was a water leakage everytime we took a shower. 5) Since we came in December, we didnt really have much use of an AC. But during a couple of times we did switch it on, it was making lot of noise. As if i am driving a F1 Car. They need to get that checked as well. 6) For reasons best known to the Hotel, none of my credit cards worked in booking.com (It has worked with other hotels). Utltimately i had to make payment via NEFT. Once, because the credit card did not work for the first time, the hotel simply cancelled the booking instead of reaching out to me. I had to rebook the same room and again the credit card payment did not go through. Did not expect this from a near 5 star property specially when my credit cards have worked everywhere else in the world including other properties at booking.com

As per the rates the property the facilities are extremely poor. Unclean rooms and washrooms. The staff is not very co operative. Will not recommend anyone to stay at such high price.

Outdoor eating.

In my initial booking Ranbanka was showing rate of 8000 per night, I had to cancel it and then book it again , within that the rate got increased twice to 15000. Allowing not to cancel the booking and no refund you don’t have any other options but to proceed. The water pressure and flow in the bathrooms is very weird. There is no use of hot and cold because it doesn’t work. The stay is good but the facilities are not worth 17k. For Christmas Eve Ranbanka was charging 5000 per person separately. Even after requesting that it should be allowed for the stay in guests they did not entertain us.

Breakfast little disappointing. South Indian breakfast was not up to the mark. Having said that it was decent but not great. I had luxury suite, it was phenomenal with a large balcony and clean.

The breakfast can be improved and in the room there was a defect with the shower which was treated later, it would be good if everything in the room is checked properly by the staff. Further, wifi worked for only 1 days and rest of the 2 days it didn’t work, it was disappointing.

Bathrooms were not up to date. Some efforts needed.

Property

The room is not maintained, only has a head shower no tap or telephone shower, the kettle was not working , the bed was noisy,
