China Clipper Inn

We only stayed one night at the China Clipper B&B. We booked one of the smaller rooms for the night. Tastefully decorated with period furniture, a nice en-suite bathroom with shower. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious, made by Kristen, the inn keeper. She is so warm and welcoming, we were sad that we weren't staying at least one more night. We will definitely be back to stay. Highly recommend!

The Clipper Inn was perfect for our girls trip. The rooms are warm and cozy, beds comfortable and the hot tub was a fun bonus. Kristin’s’ breakfasts were delicious and she is a delight. We also loved that we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go to in town. Highly recommend.

The Clipper Inn is the perfect setting for a girls trip or a family reunion! Kristen is the inn keeper and she is a delight and cooks a delicious breakfast! The beds are fantastic as well as the linens! I would highly recommend the Clipper Inn and the town of Ouray! It is a slice of heaven!

The place is a real gem. it is locatedin the perfect spot. Kristen the inkeeper is very polite and accomadating and the breakfast is amazing. in my oppinion the only place to stay in Ouray. The town and setting is very family oriented.It is the perfect location.

We've stayed at The Clipper Inn two years in a row and have always had the best time. The breakfasts were always superb, and staff were always truly accommodating to anything we might want. If you are vising Ouray, this is the place to stay. Our hostess, Kristin, and her young son, Rafe, provided wonderful hospitality that truly made us feel right at home.

This was a beautiful inn located a block from the Main Street of Ouray and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious and the options for seating (porch, living room or dining room) were very nice. We really enjoyed our stay!

We truly enjoyed our three nights here at the inn. The room was comfortable and the home is beautiful. Kristen, the innkeeper made sure we were comfortable and well cared for. The location is perfect and convenient, yet quiet. The breakfasts each day were different and delicious. Highly recommend! We’ll definitely stay here each time we visit in the future!

We recently stayed in Room 21 at the China Clipper Inn. After having a wonderful stay several years ago, we were disappointed with our return experience. The room was dirty and outdated, not at all what we expected. Despite booking for three people, the room was not properly set to accommodate us on arrival. To make matters worse, there were no cleaning services provided over our three night stay which only added to the discomfort. The only redeeming quality was the breakfast, but that is unfortunately not enough to make up for the high cost and low quality of room.
