My husband and I made reservations st this hotel for our first visit to Saint Simons Island. The positive about the hotel is the location. It is centrally located with shops, restaurant, light house within walking distance. We were disappointed in the condition of the hotel. There was significant construction going in the establishment, which we were not made aware of before be made reservations. The rooms were not as advertised in the pictures on the website. There were rips in the curtains, or at least the room we were in...on the 'balcony' which overlooked a parking lot...there was a chipped dirty table. The hotel sent me an email after the visit. I was very clear about problems with the room and attached pictures. The front desk staff were polite and no issues with them at all. They were certainly not responsible for the condition of the room. So, if you are mostly looking for good location for shops/restaurants and not too picky about condition of hotel, you will not have any issues with this hotel.

Room was very clean, bed was sooo comfortable! The bathroom was stocked well with toiletries. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions. Check in was easy and fast. Easy to get to and beautiful landscaping.

It was under construction, so caught us off guard.
