Yes they are still going through construction but it didn't stop us from having a good time.

It is good that they are renovating this place - it needs it! We stayed only one night and found that the room size was good - and the bed was comfortable. Our room was pretty clean but we would have loved to sit on our small balcony but it was filthy and the furniture was old, rusted and uncomfortable. The complementary breakfast consisted of fruit loops or frozen muffins and terrible coffee.

Place under construction which we knew about. Jumped in shower and there was no hot water at all. Never had hot water for our entire stay. Front desk did call and gave us a 30% discount. Needs more choices for breakfast. We chose to go out to eat. Bed was comfy but not getting a shower was very unpleasant .

Do NOT stay here. Filthy room, undisclosed facility wide construction, no hot water, but location is great. And beware of exorbitant fees if using Booking.com

Location - great coffee machine in the lobby - wonderful bed and pillows - the toiletries were excellent

No coffee machine in the rooms - parking spaces are somewhat tight - very limited breakfast

Hotel being remodeled. Very messy and smelly. My room had a toilet that ran toilet all night keeping me awake. I left the hotel after staying only 1 night. The hotel was willing to Adjust my payments but booking would not work with me. I will never use booking again.

The Inn looks nice from the outside and is in a great location near shops and restaurants. The receptionist at the front desk was friendly, efficient and courteous. However, I was not aware that the Inn was under construction when I made the reservation; the website did not mention that to my knowledge. It was messy inside due to renovation. The room we were assigned looked directly onto a garbage dumpster and a trashy area in the back - we returned to the front desk and paid up to get a much better suite (which had a lovely view, was clean and spacious). The website said the Inn offered a "delightful breakfast with waffles, fresh fruit and muffins"; however, the only fruit were apples, there were three small muffins out, and you had to make the 'fresh waffles' yourself with a waffle maker. I would not stay here again when my wife and I return to St. Simons Island.
