Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge

The location of the property was great. the walking trails and the scenery on these walks around the actual property was fantastic, All the staff that we dealt with were helpful and friendly. the waterfalls, the trees, the wildlife, including Chunky the wombat were definite highlights. This combined with the beauty of the actual Cradle Mountain National Park and the snow we experienced on our last day, made for another unforgettable experience on our holiday in Tasmania.

Was only booked for 8 nights but had to move from tower 1 to tower 2 after 3 nights. No reason was given. No toilet paper. Very noisy air con. WiFi was not working. Not impressed.

Flawless stay - beautiful cabins in an amazing location. Watch a platypus diving in the lake outside the dining room.

The accommodation was wonderful ♥️ Such a picturesque spot with so much wildlife.

Staff ignored us at check in, and when we approached the young lady. She said she would help us soon and then left and didn't return. After 10 mins another guest came and was checked in before us. The restaurant was seriously overpriced for basic food.

Staff, meals, atmosphere in the tavern, gas heater, rooms were warm. Balcony was beautiful.

Mould on the shower ceiling. Mattress was so uncomfortable and old we ended up with sore backs and hips after 2 nights. Pillows were old and it was like sleeping with none.
