Please note, there is a 1.4% credit card surcharge when using a credit card. Please note that Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is located in 994 mi of wilderness. Because of the properties location, mobile phone service is limited (Telstra is the only service provider with network coverage in the area) and in-room WiFi is not available due to transmission issues to the cabins. Your room does not have a TV. TV is available in the Tavern, which is open from 11:30 daily. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The legal guardian must provide a current photo ID or proof of guardianship if requested upon check-in. A deposit may be required at the property.

The room balcony and fireplace.

I miss the old reception area and fireplace area in the main building. The room needs an update. It feels old. And for the price you’re paying it really should be more cabin chic. Reflect the outside on the inside a bit better. There needs to be better spaces to put your clothes so to not having to live out of your suitcase. I would expect the price to be half for what it currently is.

Location to the walks

Small bed no internet, no TV. The Highland restaurant was very expensive for what you get. The food was great but too expensive. We would have got better value at the tavern.

Frühstück sehr gut! Personal sehr freundlich. Lage top! Viele wilde Tiere auf dem Anwesen, sogar das Schnabeltier zeigte sich an einem von drei Tagen. Essen im Tavern Bar & Bistro ok.

Badzimmer sehr kalt (wir waren im April da). Überhaupt war die ganze Hotelanlage nur mässig geheizt, auch beim Essen mussten wir zum Teil die Jacke anbehalten, in der Lobby sowieso. WLAN nur in der Lobby und einem Restaurant. Da grösstenteils auch sonst kein Netz vorhanden war, ist man recht abgeschnitten. Essen im Highland Restaurant überteuert und hat nicht ganz den Beschreibungen auf der Karte entsprochen (eine Lemon tart wurde zu lemon cream, no tart). Wenn das gesagt ist, WIR WÜRDEN DEFINITIV ZURÜCKKOMMEN, sollte sich die Gelegenheit bieten.
