The Lince Azores

Reservations for this facility were made on line and upon our arrival we found it to be just the best place. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good, close to major roads around the Island and also close enough to downtown Ponta Delgada to even walk. The free parking was a bonus along with a very good breakfast that was served every morning. The physical building is well cared for, and the rooms were very comfortable. The decor is somewhat dated, but that did not take away from the overall experience. I would happily return here if ever I would come to the Azores again.

Hotel was outstanding but pool need improvement. Dinner buffet always good. Room was clean and comfy!

Great, clean and modern hotel. Bathroom is big and staff is very friendly. Definitely would stay here again. A four star hotel for sure.

The hotel was pleasant, the room attractive and very comfortable, with excellent beds, but the location was a bit out of the way. The pool was in full view of the dining room, which we thought was a bad idea and indeed, we saw no-one in the pool!

Reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were really large and had 2 doubles so had we known, kids could have shared our room. The bathrooms could use really some updating but was also very large. The oddest thing were the pillows...they look like a bag of popcorn. I thought I got a really old one as it was super lumpy (it literally looks like it was filled with popcorn!) but they were all like that! Breakfast was quite good...a selection of fresh fruit, beverages, breads, hot items, etc. Coming from our stay at Carris Porto Ribeiro who was also 4 star, Lice did not live up to their 4 star rating but mostly it was due to the bathrooms and the lobby furniture that looked like it needed a refresh or steam cleaning.

Rooms were clean, staff were accommodating. We enjoyed our stay.

Out first trip to the Azores, great hotel, indoor parking, very clean, large rooms, convenient location, pool, very friendly staff, terrific breakfast buffet, we would stay here again. Staff recommended places to visit and nearby restaurants all of which were great..
