We liked this hotel, clean, modern,. The only thing would suggest is a new shower head

Not a four star. Very dated room. Front desk staff excellent. Great location, quiet. No coffee maker or iron. Walking distance to the main square and to the marina. We loved S. Miguel. Taxi drivers and people in general are very friendly.

Stayed for 6 nights as part of a family holiday. Chosen partly for the swimming pool being indoor & outdoor & therefore would be usable whatever the weather. However when we saw the pool it was clear we wouldn't be using it as the water was cloudy, the smell of chemicals so strong you could smell it in the bar a floor above. The decking round the pool was rotten in several places & covered in green algae as was the shower area. We did complain & it was cleaned up a bit but still didn't feel happy letting the kids in. Rooms ok but beds uncomfortable & pillows awful. No tea or coffee making facilities. If hadn't paid upfront would have moved as not good value for money & certainly not 4 stars.

The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast provided excellent value for money as there was a wide range of fruits, meats, cheeses & breads to choose from for continental style breakfast - as well as eggs, bacon and sausages. We always left very full! The hotel was in a very good location a short 5 minute walk from the centre of Ponta Delgada. Would recommend as overall was excellent value.

We have just returned from the Azores and our stay at the Lince. This hotel was brilliant, under 10mins to the harbour and town, the staff were lovely, as was the food. Buffet breakfast/evening meal with a BBQ in the garden on the Thursday eve. Our flight arrived late so they offered us a lunch on any day as we'd missed dinner. This was also great. Really enjoyed the stay.

The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was great. The location was very convenient. It was very easy to park around the hotel - we found it easier to do that than enter the hotel car park. The room was very spacious and clean with a great view.

Wonderful hotel for the price. Would recommend to a friend!

Comfortable stay over 4 nights + 1 when returning from another island before flying out. 10mins walk to the marina, which was very comfortable. The hotel is located in a quiet area with FREE and secure underground car parking. Linked to the only highway in 3minutes to get to all the other towns. Staff at the front desk were very pleasant but the staff doing buffet breakfast were not so cheerful for the whole 5 days. Rooms were spacious with good wifi Internet which can be a problem even in the best of the hotels. TV had good selections of channels, movies, cartoons, news etc.Bed sheets were not changed regularly so had to ask these to be changed after realising it on the second night and bathroom was not always adequately cleaned as found the hair to be still present on tiles. Overall a 4* hotel, where we had a comfortable stay.

Spent 4 nights here great place to visit. Loads to do, hotel central and good facilities. Easy to walk into town. Parking safe and free.

Amazing bang for your buck. Our price included a pretty tasty breakfast buffet with good stuff. Rooms were spacious and clean. A 10 euro ride from the airport. In hotel bar was good and good prices. Great service. Highly recommended. Pool was on smaller side but clean.
