Four Points By Sheraton Arusha, The Arusha Hotel

The hotel is very nicely located in Arusha, inside it feels very comfortable and clean. It’s always buzzing with people leaving for Safari etc, so it has a nice vibe. Breakfast is nice, eating out on the deck is very pleasant. The bar with cold beers is also welcome after a hard day of work.

I booked through booking.com due to a failure of our booking agency to process a booking elsewhere (Lingmerths, you know who you are). Very happy that Four Points had a room for us! However, it’s very sad that after repeated requests, I never received the invoice I need to get my stay reimbursed. I sent many mails and many requests through booking. None of them seem to reach the responsible person. Only received an invoice of my drinks in the bar, which I also received on location on paper. None of this will influence mu score of this hotel, which is very comfy with extremely helpful staff. It’s just a last attempt to get the necessary documentation to get reimbursed by my employer.

Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Rooms were good size and clean. Restaurant had good buffet for breakfast and dinner. Central location.

Excellent hotel we used before and after a safari trip. Great service from check-in, porters and restaurant/bar. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety to ensure a great start to the day.

We had a 2 night stay arriving very early in the morning. Unfortunately we had a long wait for our room but we’re offered free coffee/tea and snacks. It was a long walk to our room which was situated in a wing with corridors and stairs (no lift) but staff were always extremely helpful. Rooms were very spacious and well appointed and we had a lovely view of the pool and gardens. Food was excellent with a good selection and staff were always very helpful.

The Four Points by Sheraton Arusha is conveniently located about 20 minutes from Arusha’s airport, which makes it a good option for a short stay before or after a safari. The outdoor areas are green and pleasant, and the overall atmosphere is calm. The staff were friendly and offered us a room upgrade, which was appreciated. The hotel itself is comfortable enough, though nothing particularly memorable. Overall, a good place for a short stop in Arusha, especially if you’re in transit.
