The climb to the top of the property - there is no lift and I walk with a stick.

"Great hotel, but no AC in summer is a show stopper, and no window opening could be a real safety issue."

Beautiful building, great location.

Booking.com advertised hotel as having AC. Our room was 27C with no AC and to make things worse the window did not open. It was a sealed window meaning no air circulation and we couldn’t sleep properly or spend time in the nicely decorated room.

We liked the location, comfortable beds, modern bathroom, great decoration, quality furniture, friendly attention from staff, lively vibes.

We liked everything. It was a very hot day and we had a room in the attic south facing so it got very hot. A fan was provided but air con would have been better.

Historical with great location and pleasant staff. Clean.

Lack of parking. The hotel is on the waiting list for parking permits to the nearby Mayor’s Avenue car park. With four floors there is no lift. The building is listed which prevented the moving of stairs to accommodate one. Food was excellent apart for one meal of poorly cooked pork.
