Two Bridges Hotel

Lovely old place full of charm. Lovely food in the restaurant. Only complaint is that we could hear everything going on in Hotel, people walking past our door was a very load experience. No sound insulation. Didn’t get to sleep until 3am because of all the noise, so missed out on our walk the next day

We liked the building and decor and furnishings which echoed the age and history of the hotel. We were intrigued by all the clocks in every room which were all stopped and showing different times. Apparently

The stay was brilliant but the bed was a tad soft for me so didn't sleep to well on the whole would thoroughly recommend this hotel

Lovely stay at a very traditional hotel. Good food and extremely helpful staff. The only negative (if it is a negative) was the intermittent WiFi.

An excellent hotel in the middle of Dartmoor National Park. Stayed on business and arrived late but they were still willing to keep the restaurant open to provide food. Didn’t have time to explore the local area but you can imagine as it’s in the middle of Dartmoor there’s not a lot close by. all the staff are excellent and very friendly and helpful and the hotel is packed with period features.

Great weekend away , great location, good food well worth a visit

The hotel is ideally located for exploring Dartmoor. It is very popular with visitors arriving for refreshments, especially the wonderful afternoon teas served here. We had dinner the first night we arrived which was a wonderful experience. Fabulous food. A young pianist played lovely music throughout the meal. One thing that stands out at this hotel is the staff who are all very friendly and very professional. All worked extremely hard and nothing seemed too much trouble. Our room was quite dated but very comfortable. Our only real complaint about the room was that there was no shower, other than a hand held devise attached to the bath taps in a dated gold colour. Not a pleasant experience holding the shower head whilst trying to shower.
