"Exceptional"

10.0

Top quality Parador, history, comfort and service all perfect. Even has its own functioning chapel which was part of the monastery. We have stayed at many Paradors and we would particularly recommend this one. Cangas de Onis is well worth a visit and is the perfect base to explore the Picos de Europa. Would love to have stayed longer, cannot recommend enough!!

"Great parador for exploring Picos of Spain"

Great location to explore the picos of Spain. Very quite next to a river with walking trails next to it. Interesting areas of archeological sites inside the hotel walls.

"Beautiful Stay by the River"

We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at the Parador. Very spacious bedrooms on the annex side. We didn't get to stay in the original building but that was more than OK with us because we had large rooms with balconies overlooking the river. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pricey but convenient and nothing short of delicious.

Eonderful location to visit Covadonga, Picos de Europa, Cangas de Onis...beautiful lanscapes, very nice people in the región, nice food
