Parador De Cangas De Onis

Fabulous place to stay. Great location close to town. Quite and comfortable. Would love to have stayed a month.

Lovely parador. We had never stayed at one before and it was terrific. Absolutely would not change a thing. Order the cheese fondu from the cafe. The town is an incredible place for walking the small streets and interesting restaurants. We took pictures near the Roman bridge.

On arrival the look of the parador was spectacular, also the warmth of the staff and their helpfulness was excellent. Will definatly stay there again.

Our stay is the first one at a Parador and we were overall very pleased. The place and accommodation were excellent and staff were very friendly and helpful. The only tiny observation was the lack of staff in the dining room on our last morning when the hotel was very busy with only one waiter and waitress, they were clearly unable to cope with that many people. I would recommend this hotel to others as very convenient base for those wishing to visit the Picos Mountains either walking or driving.
