Hotel Bellerive

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend to stay!

Hotel Bellerive is beyond outstanding! Excellent location, beautifully appointed, absolutely wonderful breakfast, very nice and comfortable room, spa access, employees and owners extremely helpful, friendly, and professional! Katja (owner) picked us up at the train station and that was just the beginning of a PERFECT stay! We were traveling with another couple and we had booked a special that included a five course delicious dinner at a charming restaurant, museum tickets, an aperitif at the hotel, and a picnic including wine. We were unable to do the picnic due to our schedule and when Katja (owner) found out she insisted we take our picnic on the train for our next destination. She met us at the train station with two backpacks containing our very tasty picnic and wine. It was a great suggestion and follow through by Katja, and very much appreciated by the four of us! I will always stay at Hotel Bellerive for any future visits to Zermatt and highly recommend you do the same!

Location was excellent . walking distance to restaurants , sights, transportation and just being outside. The breakfast was very nice - and the staff was exceptional ! We will return.

Our only thought was that the motion light in the bathroom could have been either less sensitive or just replaces with a small nightlight. When it went on it was directly in the eyes of the person in bed. Also if there is a sink in a bathroom area that is separate there should be soap and a towel! The facility was great - not a complaint - just a suggestion.

Great decor, Matterhorn view and location. The breakfast was outstanding.

The staff were all super friendly. We felt like part of their family. By American standards this was more of a luxury type of boutique hotel to us. The breakfast was top drawer. The spa was a real treat at the end of the day. Helpful hint: the lobby bathrooms have a bidet feature!

Great hotel - close to the main street and all the relevant lifts but in a quieter area of town. The breakfast was great and the staff were so always accomodating - assisting with plans and transport.

Room was spacious and modern, staff was very attentive especially during the free breakfast buffet. Free shuttle service from main Zermatt train station throughout the day.

Perfectly situated close to the main street but far enough away to be quiet. Amazing staff. Rui went above and beyond. Breakfast is soooo good! Room was very nice and comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived the service offered was exceptional. After check-in we were told about the hotel and then taken to our room and told how to work various pieces of equipment. Throughout our stay the staff were friendly, courteous and relaxed. Nothing was ever too much trouble. There is a small spa in the basement with a wet and dry sauna and a plunge pool, all excellent. The breakfast has to be seen to be believed. There’s a juicer to make fresh vegetable juice and a fresh orange squeezer. The range of cheeses and cooked meats were also amazing. The hotel is just out of the centre of Zermatt so isn’t as busy as the Main Street, a definite advantage.
