Asterias Village Resort

Nikos the bar man is fantastic always smiling always helpful. Most of the staff are the same but I have to say how Nikos steals the show with his humour and excellent service.

Had a really nice outdoor pool and chair area to hang out. Close to town and walkable to many different restaurants and stores

I checked in and was told I had been given a free room upgrade, I was amazed when I seen my room, I was given room 22, the balcony was huge and the pool and sea view perfect, I travel frequently due to my job as a travel agent and all honesty I have to say this place was outstanding, all of the staff from bar, reception to housekeeping genuinely lovely, thank you Asterias Village for the great stay and memories, I will see you soon.

What a shame, 5 days into a lovely week and totally gobsmacked at how I was spoken to at the bar… waiting for a drink I put 2 small pieces of ice in the drip tray so it would be empty for the next drink… nothing significant or dirty but to my amazement the barman started having a go stating “that’s not garbage”! Shocked I said it just 2 small pieces of ice to which he snapped back “oh you are always right”!!! Very rude…. I went over to reception to express my anger over being spoken to (in front of other guests) then returned back to see the person I spoke to speaking to the rude bar man who then had another go at me asking “why you go tell on me at reception!?” You want me to get slapped”!!! I’m shocked at this service as been before but never experienced service like it…. NEVER AGAIN so upset 😭

Just got back from a 10 night visit to Asterias Villas. Sooo let’s look at the good points firstly the staff are very nice and pleasant. My other half had a massage from Micheal which she thought was very good. Also the pool area is very modern with plenty of sunbeds no need to get up at 2 in the morning to get one. Perfect location with plenty of excellent bars and restaurants.Thats about it really. Now the not so good Firstly this is NOT a 4star hotel 10€ tourist tax a night for 2star accommodation unless your lucky enough to stay in a superior room who also pay 10€ a night and they get a safe key thrown in we had to pay €20. Not really fair is it. Issue with swimming pool watched several people slip over on entering the pool so be careful Breakfast mundane not really worth getting up for But here’s the big one got shown to our studio room on entry hit with a musky smell of drains and damp. Went to reception to change room but no joy. Had shower water flooding bathroom and bedroom floors had to use our towels every day to mop up water. Rotten door frames and blown plaster and poor decor. Worryingly there appeared to be an issue at some point with the plug socket as it showed signs of smoke damage leading up to the fuse board. None existent outside space two chairs and a small table outside your FRONT door. Brought all these points up on check out with the manager. This room is in need off total refurbishment and no better than a store room. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel plenty of real 4star hotels in the area with better facilities

Just back today from the Astoria Village. Beautiful complex, spotlessy clean everywhere. We were bed and breakfast, the breakfast was exactly the same every day, not up to much. This is my gripe, we paid 70 euros room tax which I wouldn’t have minded but our room 115 was anything but four star. Air con in the bedroom, fan in the living area. We had two cups, coffee maker and a kettle, also coffee pods, tea bags not a spoon in sight. Paid 60 euros to keep our room till 6. They gave us another room which was like a palace, room 123, could not believe how beautiful it was, a balcony with sun. We had no balcony and no sun on the tiny terrace. It had glasses, dishes, glasses bath and shower. Our bathroom was so dark and dingy the shower was horrendous. Why should we pay the same amount for an awful room. Staff were really nice, and rooms were kept spotless, beds and towels changed every two days.

It was nice and quiet , good location

The apartment was quite old fashioned and in need of modernisation , no door on Shower so floor was saturated every night making the floor slippy and dangerous , also seemed like pool maintenance was not 100% when walking in pool the floor tiles in pool seemed to have algae on them and quite a few people list their footing , if these things were sorted out I wouldn’t be able to fault hotel
