La Casa Delle Fate

The apartment I stayed in was called Sirene. It was spacious and had a lovely little balcony that was nice to sit out on with a side view of the water. The apartment was in an excellent position, close to a little pebble beach and also walkable to anywhere on the island. The owner, Luca was fantastic. He gave lots of information about the area and was willing to hear any feedback. He even ordered my taxi when I was leaving and left wine and a home made tart for me when I arrived. The apartment had everything I needed for my stay. I would definately recommend this apartment.

We had a lovely stay here. Our host Luca was great. He gave us lots of information and was always on hand immediately if we needed anything. We had a ten night stay here and it was perfect for a long stay. We had everything we needed. We could sit out in the courtyard and enjoy the sun, and breakfast out, or a drink in the evening, which was a real treat. Everything was nearby, it was a great location. I would definitely recommend it, and Luca was fantastic. If I go back to Ortigia I would definitely stay here again.

Such a lovely traditional apartment in an interesting building and in a great location towards the tip of Ortigia. Luca is an exceptional and kind host, full of useful information and happy to help, not only with day-to-day questions but also in a crisis. We took a bus to the beach on Sunday only for it to start raining, the return bus wasn't for a few hours so we messaged him and he arranged a taxi to pick us up!

We couldn't find fault with the apartment or with Luca.

Luca was brilliant, he gave us so much information about what to do and see, even places to eat, he met us at the taxi stop and took us to the accommodation. The apartment was amazing, very traditional with a rooftop terrace, stairs were a little steep but was not a problem for us, had absolutely everything you would expect, location was very central in Ortigia, would highly recommend staying here, our apartment was No. 6. We appreciated the bottle of wine, water and cakes on arrival. Thank you Luca for making it a wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay overall. Location was very good, Luca was very attentive and helpful with all of our needs. There has been hot water always and beds were very comfy and clean.

Our host could not have been more helpful in his communication. He really wanted to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent, accommodation characterful and comfortable and the courtyard lovely. We very much enjoyed our visit.

It is very comfortable and quiet apartament with everything you need. The host is incredibly caring and ready to help you with all you problems. We can't complain really about anything and we can reccomend it to everyone without any doubts :))

Location excellent even for Ortigia. We spent several days exploring all of Ortigia and never found a location to match it. Luca the host is very helpful and considerate. His English is excellent as are his communication skills generally. We very much enjoyed meeting him and appreciated his assistance and his impartial recommendations for local restaurants etc in particular ( based on other guests feedback). The property itself is ideal. Everything is as described. We stayed for 8 nights but could very comfortably have stayed for longer. The apartment is tastefully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. The air con was excellent- simple to use and far better than many places we have stayed.
