City Life Port Hotel

1. location is good. 2. Non-smoking still have smoke smell. 3. What they said have free parking means you just park your car in street. They did not have parking provided. Not as mentioned in the website.

It’s in the walking distance to ferry terminal and old town.

Very comfortable beds, view of harbour from our balcony. Helpful staff, good location. I would recommend the menu breakfast rather than the buffet which is expensive.

We had a great time at Elia seaside.The staffs were frendly and responsive....Great view a everything within vicinity

Los baños necesitan mantenimuento y el aure acondicionado hacia mucho ruido.

Abbiamo preso una camera per 4 di passaggio ad Heraklion nel nostro tour di Creta.La camera viene descritta " senza balcone"; in realtà ha una sola finestra che si apre su un piccolissimo cortile cieco quindi all' interno non c' è luce naturale. Il bagno un buco nel quale ci si gira a malapena senza l' ombra di una saponetta o un bagnoschiuma..l' aria condizionata che gela parte della stanza ed è inefficace nell' altra. In sostanza un semplice dormitorio.

Just over-night stay after arriving with the ferry to the port and prior continuing towards Chania the following morning. For that purpose this hotel works well- great location for that, clean, easy to find and friendly personnel.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel uniquement pour ça proximité avec le Port et les Bus car nous avions besoin des transports en commun pour se déplacer sur l’île. En dehors des Bus qui sont à 3 min à pied et du Port qui est à 5 min à pied, vous avez également le centre de Héraklion qui se trouve à 10 min à pied ainsi que son Aéroport qui se trouve à 8 min en voiture. L’hotel, lui, reste simple, les chambres sont assez grandes mais la salle de bain très petite. L’hotel se situe en bord de route, avec pas mal de circulation, et les chambres sont mal insonorisé entre elle. Nous n’avons pas pris de petit déjeuner dans l’hotel. Donc pour résumer l’Hotel est très bien situé mais ça reste un hôtel bas de gamme.

We were back at the Life Hotel for the fourth time within a few months, this time to see the Minoan and Mycenaean exhibition at the Archaeological Museum. I needed to do the short trip into town by bus because of my wife's problems with the last steep pinch of the walk. Joanna was on Reception. She explained exactly how to use the ticket machines. I needed to print off my boarding passes for the flight home. The pleasant-mannered lady proprietor was on Reception. She explained exactly how to email her the passes for printing. Every request was handled with courtesy and charm. The location is two bus stops from the city centre and on the road to the airport. It was for us a real find.

We loved the Life Hotel so much we went back to it on our last night in Crete.It is well placed and run by people who give you a great welcome and can give reliable advice about excursions and car hire and local restaurants
