City Life Port Hotel

The hotel is in a walking distance from the port, the coach station and bus station. The room was at all times clean and tidy .Breakfast was very good ( exceeded expectations). Staff were very polite, friendly and happy to assist with any enquiries and questions on a 24/7 basis. Visitors can walk to city centre and visit archaeological sites or any other sites of interest , as the town has a lot to offer in terms of night life, sites of interest or even shopping. The sea is also very close( walking distance).Visitors can also take the coach ( coach station is in a 5 minutes walking distance) and escape to other areas of interest or the beach. Overall an excellent hotel , in a great location, with excellent service and staff. Hotel price was really a bargain.

Life hotel is ideally located close to the port so if you depart early or arrive late from Heraklion it's a great choice for accomodation. Very nice and accomodating staff that greets you with a smile and will help you with your every need. Also a nice restaurant with some snacks and light meals and a game of pool if you so desire. Great place!

The hotel is located a short walk (about 7minutes) from the town centre. It's great if you're in transit (as many people who travel to Heraklion are) - it's very close to both the port and the airport. The breakfast is very basic. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful.

Stayed one night after late arrival at airport. Taxi only cost €13. Check in was a little stressful as although stay all paid for, I had problems as the card that it was paid with had since expired and even though I produced the new card I had problems. Not what you want at 3am. Room was clean but basic. A little noisey as our room was on the main road. Lift up to second floor is tiny, no room for cases and people! Breakfast was basic but tasty and costs €6 per person.

Low cost A reasonably nice room last renovated 30 years ago. A nice hot shower with a hand held nozzle that poured water all over the floor. Walking distance to the Ferry in an industrial area with loud traffic noises coming though the closed windows all night. Run down reception area. Pricy poor quality café. On street parking but no hotel parking. The only reason to stay here is if your diving and need to be close to the ferry. This is a good idea since traffic in Heraklion is an absolute nightmare for outsiders.

I wouldn't go as far as name this a "boutique" hotel, but it was a great price and very central. Only about 10mins walk from the airport, and maybe 15mins to central Heraklion. The bus stop to the airport is directly outside the door, and the stop to Knossos is 2 blocks down. Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Didn't try their breakfast (€5?) but there is a McDonalds and a grocery store down the road. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful with directions and navigating the bus system. It's a very basic hotel, but a good choice if you have an early morning flight or don't mind walking a little to downtown.

Can't beat the location for convenience to the ferry port in Heraklion. Also, the bus terminal is very near, as is the airport. The room itself is adequate and clean, but there seems to be a lot of extras offered. There's even a pool table!

Been there three time already. Always had nice and polite service.Small city hotel at very comunicative location .Rooms are clean.The prices are resonable.You had all needed for your stay.The wi-fi is free and on a good speed.

Stayed one night after returning from Chania and heading to the airport in the morning. Life is a short walk from the central bus terminal. The hotel is pretty basic overall, but clean and the staff was friendly in the short interaction we had. I'm not sure about the "boutiqueyness" of it... We did not leave for dinner so I'm not sure how close restaurants are. We also walked to the airport in the morning, which was just under 40 mins.

After the place we originally booked turned out to be a disaster, we needed to find alternate accommodations ASAP and the Life Boutique Hotel came through. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. The room and bathroom were small but clean, and the A/C blew cold, which was key. It's a short walk from the port, which suited our needs.
