Chester House Guest House

Wonderful experience staying at Chester Guest House. Would happily stay here again. Great hosts, rooms were beautiful, lounge etc so welcoming, and to top it all off a delicious breakfast.

Nothing we didn’t like

The daily breakfast was varied and very nice and the wait staff were very friendly. This guest house is on a main road but walking distance to Hoole village with quaint shops, pubs and restaurants. The hotel room itself was clean but tight quarters and a little more space would have been welcome. Still we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Lovely and clean very comfy bed

Never stayed at a guest house before, but would stay here again anytime. It had an elegant flair to it and room #9 was fantastic. Shower and bath tub with a super clean jacuzzi tub. Didn’t use it, but it’s rare to find a clean one in the best hotels 😬. Loved the big washbasin in the bathroom. The staff was extraordinarily kind and helpful. Lots of parking (a small car park right in front and a bigger one next door, both free). Breakfast was simple but good - note the following: last seating is 15 min before end of breakfast and end of breakfast (Mondays at 9:30am) means just that - END. Food is taken away and the room is being cleaned. So don’t think you can show up at 9:15 and just hang around 😉 perfectly fine and acceptable for us, but thought some people would appreciate knowing this. 10 stars from me as it was a surprisingly great experience! Nothing to complain about.

Goed bed, ontbijt was goed. Kamer was ook netjes. Geen magnetron aanwezig, wel een koelkast.

Furnishings are of great quality. The treats that are in the room . Car parking is great .

I didnt dislike anything but rooms a little small.

From our welcome at reception which had beautiful fragrance lovely lady who showed us around before taking us to our room - facilities of extra drinks fridge and even a microwave and lounge area - our room was clean and fresh with all the little touches of extra treats was amazing - fabulous breakfast which plenty choice

Beautifully decorated, clean, spacious room. Beds were comfortable, had the best nights sleep. Plenty of tea, coffee available in the room, but if we ran out they were available in a separate area. This area also had a microwave if needed. I felt that nothing was to big or small should you have needed anything. Very warm welcome and clear instructions given before our arrival. Breakfast was lovely with good selection, buffet style full English. Was delicious set us up for the day. Cereal options available along with fruit and pastries.

Is opposite a school so be mindful of what time you arrive if in school term time.
