Triglav Bled

This is a 1906 building with lots of character; many of the rooms face the lake ( the view is stunning). The hotel is decorated with a variety of style furniture, paints and photographs. Breakfast was delicious ( a la carte with many interesting options, which is rare these days), restaurant has a great view of the lake ( we did not dine here, but it has Michelin stars at the entrance). Pool was ok( a bit cold) and sauna was great. Rooms: at least ours was outdated and not what you expect from a 4* hotel: very small, mattresses just ok and pillows were bad to sleep). Shower water would change temperature as you were showering.

Hotel Triglav is a hotel with a long tradition and very distinctive and unique rustic furniture, as well as numerous rich artistic antiques. It is also a hotel with probably the most beautiful view of Lake Bled and the island in the middle of the lake, which you can enjoy from the terrace or from the dining room. The rooms are large, clean, tidy and furnished in a rustic manner. The food is exceptional, rich and very tasty, and lovers of fine dining can enjoy impeccable dishes during dinner. At this hotel, you can relax in the indoor pool or in the Finnish sauna, and you can also try a variety of wines in their wine cellar. The staff is extremely friendly and always there if you need help. This is a hotel to be praised and recommended.

Quiet Stay with Great Food We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is very quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. One of the highlights was the excellent restaurant with beautiful views of Lake Bled. The breakfast was also a standout, with plenty of options and good quality. However, the rooms themselves were quite basic—nothing particularly special. The bathroom, in particular, was poorly designed. If you're tall or from North America, you might struggle with the shower layout, as it’s difficult to avoid getting water everywhere. If you're looking for a quiet retreat with good food and scenic views, this is a good option.

A beautiful location on the quiet side of Lake Bled and a very comfortable hotel. This hotel lived up to its reviews Hotel it is adjourned with old furniture items and paintings. Not for IKEA lovers. The bedroom was large, comfortable and very clean. The balcony overlooked the lake. It had a fantastic wellness centre with a large pool and three saunas. Views of the lake and church from most rooms. Staff were excellent and very helpful with advice and looking up timetables for us. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious with a varied choice of items. We didn’t have dinner there but we were informed by other guests it was delicious. Location is excellent as it is on the opposite side of the lake to the main town of Bled but only a lovely 20 min walk around the lake. There is a large pontoon a 10 min walk where one can swim in the lake and sunbathe on grassy fields. Train station is very close if travelling to or from Lake Bohinj or Trieste.

This place was absolutely beautiful, clean, well maintained, and had a good location. We got 2 rooms for our family of 5. Great for kids and a family. Staff was very nice. Jurij Korosec was fast to respond when I had questions and emails. Rooms had amazing views. It’s just a bit out of the way, (which is good) 5 minutes, so you don’t have the traffic there. I thought it was UNDERPRICED for how great it was. I ate breakfast for 1.5-2 hours every morning while visiting with staff and enjoying the view. I would have liked to have met the owner. We were looking to stay at the Adora and Tito mansion but those were booked and I’m glad they were because we got a chance to stay here. My family talks about going back as soon as possible!

We stayed as a family of three in room 301 as suite with a wonderful view on the lake . Breakfast was delicious and made to order with the ability to order additional items . We really enjoyed the granola , eggs royale and omelettes . The views from the restaurant are beautiful. This isn’t a hotel you would spend all day in as there’s limited space to relax with a small indoor pool and sauna . Saying that Lake Bled isn’t a place you would want to stay indoors . We had dinner one night in the hotel which was lovely . I did the wine tasting and would definitely recommend . The hotel has character with antique furniture, if you like a modern hotel this maybe isn’t for you but we loved it . The cleaning is at a high standard and every enquiry was answered . The hotel is a little bit of a trek uphill but a scenic walk into Bled I had two 17 year old girls with me who rowed at Bled rowing club an excellent experience . Thank you for a wonderful stay .

Absolutely fabulous place to stay! Great location, very friendly people and good service. Fantastic view from our room

Nice to stay away from the Lake Bled mayhem. Up above the lake, great view of the church and easy access via the local road to the beach & lake. Breakfast was great! The staff was wonderful and the menu offered a a wide range of options, and we were able to try multiple local options. We would stay here again, since we found the local road past the train station to take us down to the restaurant, beach, row boats and campground. This route avoids all the Lake Bled traffic :-) What wasn't great? 1) The Bed(s). They were hard and very uncomfortable. 2) The patio door was missing the unlock level, so only one side opened. 3) Parking can be a little tricky if you arrive late in the evening. If you have kids or teens, you may want to stay closer to the lake. If you are looking for a little piece and quiet, a great view and easy access to everything. This is where I would stay :-)
