It’s beautiful and decorated well

Really loud at night with the wind. The bed was two twins put together so it felt odd

Staff were great. Food was excellent.

The room was a shade on the cool side for me.

We've stayed here before but this visit we stayed in one of the garden suites. It was lovely and big. Our meal at night was excellent, my husband loves his Cullen Skink, well this was completely different than what he was used to. EXCELLENT. He had his usual fish and chips for being safe as he is not a fancy eater, it was big !!! Then he tried Cranacgan, well again EXCELLENT and what you might say a reconstructed one. My choices were EXCELLENT too. Our visit was memorable 💖

Quaint, conveniently located. Well appointed. Staff all tremendously attentive. Dinner exceptionally good.

Room was quite cold despite radiators at hottest setting.

Great old building in a great setting, with both the hotel and gardens well maintained. Stayed in a very spacious cottage room, which was very comfortable and quiet. Jamal on reception was exceptional in helping us out a number of times, but all the staff were great. Had both dinner and breakfast and the food was really good. Both the bar and restaurant were comfortable and a great place to sit back and relax. Would stay here again and recommend Sherbrooke Castle.

De locatie van de kamer. (Executive kamer) Wij gingen we heen met de gedachte dat we 'romantisch' in een kasteel zouden slapen. Dat bleek dus in een appart gebouw, naast de keuken te zijn. Wellicht is dit een miscommunicatie van 1 van de partijen, maar wij waren enorm teleurgesteld. Ze hadden op dat moment helemaal geen kamer IN het kasteel vrij, dus hebben wij hebben een kamer in het Hilton geboekt, en met parkeren en ontbijt waren we het zelfde kwijt als in het kasteel. De manager en het personeel was sympathiek naar onze situatie. We hebben wel ons geld, (het op de locatie gepinde bedrag) zonder een boete (na 3 werkdagen) terug gekregen. (Wellicht omdat ze ook helemaal geen 'kasteel' kamer meer over hadden, op dat moment) Normaal betaal je de eerste nacht, als je na de uiterste annuleringsdatum annuleert. Of ze deze kamer überhaupt IN het kasteel hebben weten we niet, maar als dit een eis is, zorg voor het boeken, dat je dat zeker weet. (Of neem de optie met gratis annuleren, zodat je het dat kan uitzoeken, voordat je er verblijft)

We had Sunday lunch today, staff were very nice and attentive. The meal we had was good, the only disappointment was the main event the meat, or lack of it A Sunday Roast with very little beef is not really a Sunday roast!! We had two very, very small thin slices of meat
