Hunter Prince Castle Hotel

Certainly a unique hotel experience. The restaurant was good too!

Food good in restaurant , could of done with more coffee and sugar sachets in the room and milk why no milk, great place as it’s themed on a castle , breakfast was great each day and it was easily used as a base for sightseeing all round romania , could do with more pillows in the rooms , great bathroom and shower lovely and hot

Amazing place - every little detail was perfect, even down to the (replica) antique room phones. Staff were brilliant and the hotel looks incredible. We loved it.

Allbeautiful except for the shower head in room 301 that needs fixing. Loved the breakfast buffet

The only uncomfortable hotel I stayed in Romania. Room was very old and decore while kich has obv had better days. But the thing that ruined the stay was the extremely uncomfortablea matress with a pee pad on top. Seriously? It was like sleeping on bed of rocks and the pee pad added insult to injury. The head board was very uncomfortable and I kept hitting my head at the metal "Dracula inspired" headboard. There was a used towel in the bathroom behind a door. At night I could hear a sound in a wall like a mouse moving around, has to turn on my phone to white noise to go to sleep. The room said parking available but when I asked the receptionist to let me into the lot she said she doesn't know if it's full in a way that made it clear she doesn't feel like checking. I parked on the street which was fine but that's not what I was expecting. Wish I stayed elsewhere.

Our stay here was a disappointing one. On arrival we were asked to pay upfront and although we no that is the policy, other hotels we stayed at gave us the oppurtunity to look first and then pay when seen and happy. The shower was a disgrace, the shower tray was spongy to stand on (rotten underneath) and shower head was spraying in all directions and soaking everything. We mopped up with our towels and they apologised and brought more. We had dinner here and again very disappointing. My husband ordered the polenta with various meats inside and it was stone cold in the middle, they went to heat a new one up but my chicken stew was going cold, so we left without eating and just paid for drinks. They did apologise but it wasn't busy so there was no real excuse. On leaving the receptionist apologised again but no mention of a discount on what we had paid. Overall a bad experience we were on a road trip around Bulgaria and Romania, and stayed in various hotels and apartments and all lovely!, this was the only blip on our trip, would not stay here again. We were here to see Salina Turda and the hotel is close by. on a good note the salt mine was just a must do, so unique, 112 metres down by lift or stairs into a little magical kingdom! A Ferris wheel, crazy golf, ping pong, and plenty of other games to play. Also a lake, you can hire a boat and row around the lake whilst admiring the salt layers and shapes on the walls all around we just loved it!

Very over rated. clean and tidy. the main drama was the lazy staff. they seemed more interested in themselves then the customers except the office staff who were great. also a little expensive for what it was offering. price should have been about 30 percent lower. just too much for what they were providing. would I go back...No.

The hotel looks every bit as bizarre as advertised. But the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Ours had a huntsmen's castle theme, complete with antlers and a swanky bathtub.
