Hunter Prince Castle Hotel

A hotel built like a castle and is very cool. I would stay again just because of it. Parking is limited and you have to watch for the parking lot. Once there, breakfast is good and there have different sized rooms. Ours was the smallest and was fine for 1 day.

The location of this hotel could not be better with secure free parking as well. My only criticism would be that the restaurant menu did not translate well into English and my evening meal was not what I expected. The food generally was of a high standard but my "steak" was actually very well cooked pork spareribs

Everything was good. Quick check in, the room was clean and the condition good. Great design of the room and the building. Restaurant was great for supper and breakfast. Nothing to complain about!

STAFF STOLE OUT OF MY SUITCASE! 250 lei was stolen from where it was hidden in my suitcase. The hotel called the police but suggested we misplaced it and accused us of not locking the door. (No we hadn't misplaced it and we always lock our room. Anyway who else would of been in there apart from the cleaner?!) We spoke to the police but did not pursue it because they wanted us to see a translator the next morning; the following day we had a 5 hour drive to the next part of our trip where we needed to be by 3pm so we had to leave it. Additionally, the police warned us if someone was suspected then we would have to go back to Romania for the trial; the cost of flights, loss of earnings, car hire, hotel fees and costs Of people caring for my pets would of been excessive. The hotel claims they gave us a free mini bar as compensation - they did not tell us this until check out so we had 2 bottles of water and an orange juice. What, 10, 15 lei for 250 stolen? They have informed me no one was found guilty so this thief is still working there.

We had the biggest suit at this hotel which was very nicely decorated to the last detail. Hotel is very unique with a very beautiful centre garden. Food was very good and the staff very friendly.

The theme was nice and carried throughout the room. The location is great.

Truly a MUST stay if you're in Turda, Romania... I have never been more impressed with a hotel anywhere in the world when it comes to ambiance and decor(Dracula castle) especially since its in the middle of nowhere... Go see the most amazing underground salt mine(so big it has a Ferris wheel about 17 stories below earth surface and a boat ride 35 levels below surface and much more)... We also went hiking in the gorges which had views worth taking any length trip. Not like a intercontinental , kempinsky or top level Hilton type hotel but anyone can stay at a hotel like that in any big city so this is The ONLY place to stay in a small town like Turda.

Great room we had the junior suite, staff were friendly, hotel was clean and had some really interesting features! Lots of animal heads and bear skins adorned about the building.

The hotel was as cheesy as it looks in the pictures, with lots of badly stuffed animals everywhere. The light was never on in the hallway, so we had to find the stairs to our bedroom in the dark. The bedroom itself was something else - when we arrived there was a problem with the toilet, so they sent a man a few hours later to fix it. Unfortunately I was getting changed when he came into the room without knocking!! The sheets seemed clean enough, but were stained. The whole room stank of faeces, and the area around the toilet was a bit crusty. The water didn't drain down the plughole in the shower. The bar and restaurant was about three times as much as the restaurants in the surrounding area - this was the most obviously poverty-stricken area we went to in Romania, and this was the most expensive hotel to stay in and eat at by about 20 euros.

Entrance to hotel is from difficult-to-find, narrow one-way street torn up. Dark, small room. Very helpful staff.
