The room was nice and clean. I had a shared bathroom but was fine.

Welcome to guest house very average . Stayed in ground floor room and sadly unable to open curtains as could be seen from car park area. Room clean and tidy

The main entrance door is always locked, which is a nice safety feature. Checkin was easy and a key to the front door is provided. Room was of a nice size. I booked a twin room; it was clean and the amentities in the room consisted of kettle, coffee, tea, biscuits, hair dryer, shampoo, and shower gel. I did not have the continental breakfast, because it was just that, a continental breakfast. Hot food is not included/available. Overall, would stay again.

Convenient for town centre with parking. Good size room. Good value, especially the breakfast.

This is not a 4 star guest house, it is misrepresented. Very uncomfortable bed, tiny hot room and very unhelpful manager. I asked for my money back after the first night (was staying for 2) but was refused.

We really like staying here its nice and quiet and close to our family who we come down to visit and lots of parking

Lovely friendly smiley staff, nice rooms, good breakfast (the coffee was excellent) and plenty of parking.

It is a nice little guest house, however definately not a 4* property. I was in a single room on the top floor, therefore there was a slanted roof. This meant that there was not a shower you could stand under, instead there was a shower you hold whilst sitting in the bath. The bath could not even be filled from the taps, it only allowed water coming out of the shower attachment. Due to the slanted ceiling I was not able to stand up in the bath, this resulted in hitting my head a few times. The property is advertised as parking on site however there is only space for about 7 cars which is not enough for the number of rooms. It was okay though as parking was free on the street. It was also advertised as wifi throughout the property but this did not work in the room, I had to sit in the lobby on the ground floor to get any signal. The room was clean and towels changed daily.

My daughter and I stayed at Vensum guest house for two nights. Our room was comfortable and the staff were courteous and friendly. I would give a 5 out of 5 if the bathroom was newer.
