Wensum Guest House

Lots of cobwebs in room, shaver plug didn't work, the walls were paper thin so could hear the man in the room next door snoring for hours. This would be quite an adequate 2 star hotel I have no idea how they got 4 star.

Lovely place to stay yet again , here for three nights now added another night very cosy clean and good staff as usuall.🙂💐

Room tired and bathroom cramped. Only able to check in at 4pm, but no-one there till ten past, when five people were waiting outside. Breakfast very good though, and good value for £5.

My reason for booking this hotel was because of it’s proximity to the Community Hospital to visit my father so the standard of the accommodation was not really a priority. I have to say that everything exceeded my expectations from the friendly and helpful staff to the absolutely spotless and comfortable rooms and lovely breakfast. Would have no hesitation using this hotel again

Very good for our overnight stay, staff friendly and helpful, room was good but could have been a bit warmer, there was no heat in the shower room.

Really disappointed, it’s quite tired but has a few new bits, just not the right priorities. And please!! Plastic mattress covers are simply not acceptable. .... ever!!

20 minutes walk to city centre, buses available. Very comfortable single attic room with en-suite. Good breakfast.
