Wensum Guest House

Able to walk to town centre...approx 20 minutes. The ensuite is tiny...barely room to move. Otherwise ok. Nice cooked breakfast.

Lovely staff and comfortable room. The breakfast was excellent. We will stay here again!

Really nice place to stay, close to shops(walking). It was easier to go by bus as car parks cost a lot,you can get cheap bus tickets but have to ask for them.

I stayed for 2 nights while in Norwich for an exam. I chose the Wensum Guesthouse as it was cheaper than the mainstream budget options. The room was basic but comfortable and impeccably clean. The WiFi was good. The hotel was quiet and I managed to get 2 nights of undisturbed sleep. It's a 15-20 minute walk into the city centre. I could not find fault with this hotel, and I would recommend the Wensum Guesthouse to anyone looking for a cheap, comfortable, no frills stay.

Weekend stay to visit friends in Norwich. Comfy bed, quiet location, easy access from ring road (A47) and walking into town, helpful staff - went extra mile to get my breakfast ready quickly my last morning so I could make choir rehearsal on time. Only slight grumble was bath tub with low angled ceiling, making washing a little awkward. Would definitely stay here again, though.

Was looking forward to staying at this highly rated b&b, but disappointed as 1) the twin room was tiny compared to the double rooms, 2) we were still in bed at 9:15 when builders started knocking a hole through the wall next to our bathroom so that the whole room shook (there had been no prior warning of this building work) and 3) 2 x bath towels were soiled.

Comfortable bed, nice welcome, warm and clean shower.

Spacious clean room ground floor (107) appreciated easy chair. Unfortunately matresses were cheap and painful - sleeping on metal springs for 2 nights! Bathroom floor seriously spongey - serious leak at some time. Shower cubicle damaged and old metal bracket left on wall inside shower cublicle. Bathroom ceailing light not working. Bathroom steam extraction not up to the job. No cooked breakfast Sunday morning - cook was sick!
